Googan had a black Friday deal on 5 contenders so I grabbed it for like 25 bucks. First cast on the crappie one the tail came off so I asked for a replacement and they had none available. So I guess they are discontinued? I did talk them into sending me a Rival as a replacement instead of a 15 dollar credit but kinda bummed they don't make the contender anymore 😕
The bull gill is more of a round bait the the contender jr. Action is similar but between the two I prefer the contender because it sinks slower, and I bank fish a lot. Both great baits for different applications.
He didn't say they were better or even the same, he said you get what you pay for, even watching the video we all saw how well the klash moved vs those baits. Every one of my swimbaits moves better than those baits. Hell the arashi baits move 10x better than the googan ones.
Well comparing things is all about adding multiple perspectives. So comparing it to the great baits like these will help viewers decide whatever it is they want to. Im not here to sell you, just show you. Just trying to help those wondering.
@@RyanRigged huh let’s see $25-$125 I’m pretty sure that when 90% of viewers aren’t dedicated to swimbait fishing they will buy a $25 lure to just try and when it sucks that bad and they really don’t know about swimbait when they see a drt or bgc that cost north of $100 they think it’s a scam cause they don’t work.. taking money from these guys in the community for real that pull ton of time dedication and there own money to develop awesome swimbaits for us…and to me googan knows this and doesn’t care it’s all about the almighty $ to them and not community!

I never had that issue but it looks to be the same as the contenders.
