Love your video but I have a question... Although I absolutely LOVE your colors and the look of the nozzle you are using, when piping in with the star shaped nozzle it is definitely leaving quite a bit of air in the jar. How much ounces are you actually getting in that 8oz container? I know when I make these I can get a little over 5oz at the most filling it all the way to the rim... and I use a round nozzle with hardly any gaps of air at all ... Just curious about your "fluid ounces". Thank you!!
You mentioned that you use 1 oz of oil.. can it be jojoba oil or Argan oil.. would you be able to share what oils we can use in the scrub.. how much preservative of optiphen for the scrub?
16oz of the base foam and 16oz of the sugar being about 32oz of product she made divide it by 8 for the 8 oz jars would 4 so she’s supposed to have enough for four 8oz jars if you rough estimate it that way
Good evening, after your product sets does the oil rise to the top? I know sometimes if you don't use some type of wax oil can rise to the top after sitting for awhile ordering shipping. Does the product get a little bit more stiff after it sets? I know it's sugar scrub sometimes the scent doesn't stay on your body and kind of washes off after you wash off the scrub, how do you get the fragrance to stay on the body
1. No the oil doesn't rise to the top. If you blend all your ingredients accordingly, no oil will show. 2.Also, when you're finished making the sugar scrub, place in an airtight container. 3. It's a "Soap product" not meant for the fragrance to stay on your body like a body spray or perfume.
@@teneyaasifiwe9010 I was wrong, water is apart of the soap base ingredient list. That’s why the manufacturers add a preservative. We add more preservative to the base to help the extra ingredients(oils/butters) last longer as well.
It would have been nice if you had posted the recipe in the description box
By far the easiest explanation 🎉
These are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing
This was done in the spirit of excellence. Thanks for sharing.
finally someone is using an actual scale when they are piping!!!

For optiphen She used 1% of of the total mixture
Thank you!
Hi there does your product leave a very thin layer of oil after setting in your jars? I recently made some and i got that effect in my product.
No.. I don’t have that problem…maybe you did mix the oils in all the way or you used to much oil.
@@PinkSwirlsSoap where did you get the bulk of soap base from ?
Flaming Candle

Amazon
Does this have water in the soap base, do you have to use optiphen plus?
There’s no water in the product, but when used in the bath, water will get in the jar. That’s what the preservative is for.
@@PinkSwirlsSoap oh! I thought there is aqua listed as an ingredient in the soap base! Ok thanks :)
