Governor Powes Parkop announces major boost for NCD School Rugby League competition

As Papua New Guinea (PNG) is breaking barriers to have its team become 18th NRL in the Australian competition, Port Moresby Governor, Powes Parkop today (Sunday, July 7, 2024) announced a major boost for NCD Schools Rugby League championships. He announced K100,000 sponsorship for next year and two mini-stadiums for Moresby North-East and Moresby North-West Electorates. Governor Parkop said to beat the Australian Kangaroos, it is not rocket science-engage young children in Rugby League at an early age. Parkop says it is his dream that one day PNG Kumuls will beat the Australian Kangaroos.
