JAMIE DORNAN is an actor who first came to the attention of television audiences in 2013 when he played serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC series the Fall.
Two years later he starred alongside Dakota Johnson in the film Fifty Shades of Grey and went on to play the same part in the rest of the trilogy.
In 2022 he was the lead in the BBC drama the Tourist which was watched by millions of viewers and recently returned for its second season.
Jamie was born in Holywood in County Down. At 10 he played Widow Twankey in the school pantomime - a defining moment for him when he experienced the thrill of playing to a live audience.
After dropping out of university Jamie became a model and worked on big campaigns for some leading fashion brands before landing his first acting part in Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette in 2006. His role in The Fall was his big break and the Fifty Shades films catapulted him to movie star status.
In 2021 he played Pa in the film Belfast which was written and directed by Kenneth Branagh about his own childhood, growing up at the beginning of the Troubles.
Jamie is married to the musician and composer Amelia Warner and they have three children.

Thanks for sharing Part 2 of this interview with Jamie. Listening to him speak about his family members with such love in his voice shows what a caring person he is. I love him as an actor, and he is just beginning on his amazing journey as a very talented performer. I wish him nothing but the best in his career. And for the record, Jamie was wonderful in the 50 shades trilogy! ❤️
Jamie has shown his inner self during the interviews and in his choice of songs. His love for his wife and children is overwhelming. This enables him to overcome his difficulties, trials, and perhaps loneliness.

Thank you for this interview, I think it's the best one with Jamie Dornan I have heard. I very much like his choice in music, most of them are some of my favorites. What a great choice of book too.
Jamie is an interesting person. There are so many sides to him. He's a great actor, and he selects great and varied rcles. He's also very attractive, but a humble human being.
It's so sweet that Jamie has such a tender heart & is willing to let us see it.
Sigh. Just a gorgeous person. Love just pours out of him. And he's funny. So glad he found his wife.

He talks a lot about his wife, but dont hear much coming from her about jamie. Shes lucky to have him.
God protect him from any further grief, he is such a tribute to his parents ,wife, and loved ones. I hope he gets bereavement/trauma councelling because it helps one to navigate grief and express /offload the agonies that you don't want your loved ones to know.
Such a genuine loving person, and so honest, just love him❤
