Don't take any second hand Polo. You are doomed to pay a fortune to maintain it. I sold my GT TDI just because it was worthless to feed VW and let them continue to steal money from you. Vehicle is good for first 3 to 5 years max. I used to get bills of 45k to 65k without major parts replacements. Finally sold it off. It never will give peace of mind.

But after 5 years when the warranty periods ends you will realise
Brother check the fuel line as soon as possible because it might be because of the fuel line got leaked for sure💯. I had a couple of times issue with my polo GT regarding the fuel leak issue but it replaced under warranty but I’m not sure if it’s not claim by warranty then it would cost around 13-15k for the fuel lines and the labour charges🤦🏻♂️. It was an insect biting the fuel lines🥲🤦🏻♂️!
When it is occurred to me showroom denied warranty saying bug bite but they changed the fuel line under insurance. But I am damn sure bug has nothing to do with it in my case

I am having similar experience from my GT . They mention as a leakage in Breatherhorse pipe adjacent to fuel lines . They said it's not to be bothered too much since there is no fuel leakage . But still everything need to be replaced then it will cost around 15 k I haven't replaced till now with this issue 2 services are done and it's OK
