We walk off the ship for our first time in Haugesund for our 6th and final stop in Norway. AGAIN, NO CONCRETE PLANS! so we head to look for information on the pier. Not knowing the lay of the land we opt for the HOP on HOP off Bus. Not the most exciting thing to do but definitely showed us around. Lot's of shopping here in the beautiful pedestrian friendly town centre. Here you can find a patio with a view and settle in for a nice lunch and bevy. 😎 Another amazing Day in this beautiful country followed by a beautiful sail alway.

How was the Carnival Pride. Carnival has been getting kinda a bad rap lately. What is your opinion on an over seas trip with them.
We were very skeptical at first but we’ve sailed on carnival many many times. We find a lot has to do with where the ship is home porting from. The clientele was much different than a ship that may leave out of Miami. Less party vibe. Also, the spirit class of ship ( which the pride is ) is such a nice size. Service and food were both very good. The ship is in good shape. We always find Carnival’s variety of music a plus. Since it was Norway we were really going for it didn’t matter what ship we were on. After all …. IT WAS NORWAY! ❤️
Of course the price we paid was a huge factor in our decision making.
Overall Carnival did an excellent job on this trip and we wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again.
