More than 25 years ago, I was working in a hotel in Orchard as front desk guest relations officer. I worked the late shift and stayed to the last staff of that shift. I knew I was the last person in the changing room. When I was stepping out, I heard a loud bang inside. I wanted to turn back and check what’s happening. Upon taking the first step in, a sharp screaming came. I was shocked, just turn over again and left.

I served at Ulu Pandan camp for from 1999 to 2002 😂. Very creepy vibes but nothing happened to me fortunately

when i first started watching i couldn’t understand Kyle but i am getting used to his way of speaking after binge watching every episode 😂 but the hand’s accent is soooo pretentious. i think he put too much emphasis on his fake accent that makes him stumbler over his words repeatedly.
meanwhile Kyle and Wayne are just naturals 👏🏻

I honestly don't think he's faking it. Trust me, I can tell when people do that. It sounds really fake but this guy sounds more natural. Sometimes people acquire this accent because of their upbringing, surrounding or maybe because they've studied/worked overseas.

@ as someone who is living overseas and studied with a speech/voice coach for years, his accent is definitely a practiced one and not developed naturally. listen to him say the word “water”. sometimes it’s wa-der, sometimes it’s wa-ter. he can’t decide which accent to settle on. it is obvious English isn’t his first language; he focused too much on the accent that he messed up his grammar. not to say that is a big deal, this isn’t an English teaching channel after all , but I feel that it would be more enjoyable if he could speak freely and drop the pretence. I don’t know how to put it, when Wayne and Kyle speak, it feels easy, it flows. their grammar too is all over the place too but it’s ok, they’re not pretentious. But when the hand speaks I feel he is swallowing his words and it feels restrictive.
he is definitely a Malay, don’t know why ppl thought it could be Kyle. anyways I hope he will have more Malay-centric stories like the Bunian (a personal favourite) & saka in future episodes. but I hope they will bring back the scary actor guy (i think his name is Hafiz) because he is hilarious and I get scared just seeing his expressions 🤣

@@jjjadedx its uniquely singaporean accent - fly over to Singapore and you will hear plenty of it.

@@jjjadedx This is accurate. For people who lived overseas have a choice of whether to use accents or not. Also, he it is obvious he is Malay if you listen to his proficiency in pronouncing Malaysia words when telling stories.
