So refreshing to see a conference player using their RUclips channel to actually help other players and not just videos of themselves hitting bombs with their signature bats. Very much appreciated
Ryan is such a great hitter, and I appreciate how he breaks this concept down. Would love to get a BP with this guy and take in some of that knowledge.
Thank you for your simple explanation not too technical and right to the point and most importantly for your professionalism and dedicationFor making softball better for all to enjoy
Thanks Ryan. I cast quite a bit but still hit the ball fairly well. I think the tip on staying inside and tucking my rear elbow instead of pushing it out will fix it. Love watching you hit and have seen a lot of your Conference MPT games. Appreciate you!!!!
So refreshing seeing a player hitting baseballs with their softball bat, everyone should do this at home it make your bat really hot!!!!! BOMBS AWAY!!!!!
Cool thanks for the education. I believe that your hips play into that too. If you keep your hips closed longer you won't cast and be quicker with your hands
Opposite field is my bread and butter, I find myself swinging at inside pitches to pull it. Is there something I should be doing different with the tuck of my elbow? Any tips? Thanks
@@harv2510 Thank you! I spent some time on the tee last night and this really helped! No pain in my elbow either. These videos are awesome - thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience! Hope to get a chance to see you hit in person one day!
Thanks for the video Ryan! Question: is casting synonymous with "rolling over" or is casting where the hands come out from the body and "rolling over" is the result?
Yes casting is when the hands go out away from the body, pushing hands away from body. Rolling over is when the top hand rolls before the point of contact
Bryson DeChambeau would totally get this. You are essentially doing what he does with his golf swing. Right arm underneath with the left arm/elbow locked out. Really leads to consistent square contact.

What's wrong with pulling the pitch ?
Well said & demonstrated...thx!!
AWESOME! Thanks Ryan! I’ve had a bunch of issues with focusing too much on top hand push and forgetting about pull hand. Any suggestions?
Try to wait as long as possible to roll the top hand, palm down palm up at contact then roll as we finish!

Ryan. Thank you! Your other videos, which I’d like to see, can’t be viewed. Hope you can fix soon! Thank you!

Is this for base ball or slowpitch softball. Bc I feel like I need having this problem in slow pitch for a whole year and couldn't figure it out?
Both
@@harv2510 thanks a lot
Love it! Quick question. Hitting baseballs instead of softballs with the bats will it prolong the compression? Been curious about that
I normally don’t hit baseballs with softball bats, but in this case, I only had baseballs with me

Thank you!!!
do some bp with the slowpitch bat and baseballs 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Welcome to How to Kill a Pitcher, with your host Ryan Harvey!
Has no qualms about hitting middle all the time
I think being about 40 years old and 6' 2'" and 230 lbs or more of muscle has a lot to do with it.
No sh!t
