I was getting a drink backstage at a fridge, a guy passed me by, said “hello, how are you doing “ and we shook hands and started talking. I noticed what a real gentleman his person was. Turned out it was Atilla. We talked for about 15 minutes before it was time to soundcheck. That moment will always be remembered.

Vodena If you go by the legendary status, then not too many albums released since de mysteriis would top it, not only by mayhem but in the black metal genre as a whole. But in my opinion, chimera and the wolf's lair abyss ep were both great releases. Some ferocious, fast, blasphemer style riffs on both of those records. But you are right, daemon is a very good and tight release. Definitely better than esoteric warfare and ordo ad chao (especially if you also take production into consideration)
