    I don't see the point. You can do all of this with your smartphone. If it has a much better antenna to catch a signal in a super remote places then yeah, maybe. But that's the only use i can think of

      You may have a point but it depends on the kind of person you are and what you do. While smartphones can share internet through hotspots, routers and MiFis offer more stable connections, better coverage for multiple devices, and often have longer battery life for portable MiFis. In remote areas, dedicated devices like these typically handle weak signals better than most phones. Plus, they often come with features like stronger encryption, more data management options, and the ability to support more users. It all depends on what you're looking for!

      I personally use a MiFi box and it gets way better service than my phone when I travel. I've added some antennas as well to increase its service strength which only cost me an extra 8 dollars, and it only cost me around 25 dollars a month. I think this device is for a certain niche of people that travel a lot in areas where a special device may offer better connection.

      MiFi boxes in the US can run you up anywhere from 20 dollars, to 700 ish.
