In the Rollie sparing match he just didn’t have that type of experience to fight such an aggressive and hard puncher. You build that over time not by standing less straight, he has a great team backing him, if they notice anything they will be the first to let him know.
but with the tucked chin and more crunched posture he will not have those snappy punches anymore. You would be surprised how much effect the position of the cervical spine and thorastic spine has on how quick your nerves can fire up the muscles.

I think if anyone is gonna beat Ryan that's what they need to do. get outside that left foot and mitigate the destruction that left hand of Ryans causes. great job for both these guys. Well we only saw one round, from my experience some guys start off slow and turn it up as the rounds go on, but juan seemed discouraged and slow maybe just an off day who knows but when youre fighting a guy who has superior genes like ryan you have to let your hands go cut off the ring make it uncomftrouble for him because if you dont youre just gonna get outboxed and peaced up like in the video.
