Why were you not able to use the fuse tap with your setup? I’d like to be able to have the lights only be on with the DRL’s but would like to use the fuse tap. Shouldn’t the DRL plug fit the included tap?

That's not how you're supposed to use the fuse tap. You have to be careful one side of the fuse is positive and the other side is negative.
