thats a pretty good ALU. i have recently made a ALU with 15 operations. registers with 16 Bytes. A RAM chip with 64 Bytes. and also some rom and a program counter. the only thing left to do now is to make the CU or Control Unit which tells the Components instructions and how to preform them. a problem with my chips though is that they are really unefficient and you need a good pc to run them. i have a pretty good pc and it still lags it. yours is very clean. love you and keep going. one day you'll run minecraft with this

Thanks. I hope Sebastian Lague updates Digital Logic Sim, so that I runs more efficiently and more features are added.

Very Good Episodes to learn Digital Logic and functions...
It's suggest me do create your logics with the logic simulator called Digital and try build Ben Eater's 8 bit computer
Now i miss the Carry In Input in Your first Arithmetic Unit here... maybe it's comes later ?

I am experienced in this subject an I must say this is a very good explanation, for better performance you can use the community version of this project.

I'm currently planning, and working, on a sort-of remake of the series which is a little more in-depth and explanatory.

I might redo the episode, or re-release with some tweaks, It feels a little rushed and unexplained to me.

Well I'll lay out my plan here: Digital Logic Sim hasn't updated in a while, and so I've reached it's limits. I did start working on the next episode but Digital Logic Sim couldn't really handle everything I was trying to do. So what I need to do is find another Simulator I can use, or make my own (which I think could be a fun series of videos). And for the amount of episodes probably 5/6? My plan right now is probably to build up to a CPU and show it off making some calculations, and if I wanted I could go explaining, and showing, more modern computers. But I've been feeling pretty motivated to work on it, so I'll give an update in a month or so!
