Nashville metro is turning into LA south! Urban sprawl hellscape.

Wow Americans love their cars and suburban sprawl. No footpaths and fast food outlets must account for widespread obesity among the population.

Yes, this is very typical for most of America. Other parts of the country are walkable and have healthier options. It just depends on what part you are in.

That is the American Way and why we are the best country and why people flock here in droves. I lived near Hermitage in Goodlettesville as a kid and this entire area is very nice. There are other towns just as nice too. 👮🚔

Actually Percy Priest dam is up the hill from Hermitage. And it has a couple walking paths on both ends. And over by the hospital is a walking path. And over on Lebanon road by the Kohls is a long walking path that runs nearby a stretch of the Cumberland river.
But as you see on the news often the wrong people occupy parts of the walking paths. Shooting up, attacking people, etc. You can walk most parking lots and find used needles or your weed for the day. Spent shell casings are common along stretches of old hickory. The Nashville Star runs from Lebanon into Nastyville. And stops in Hermitage. Its been around for 20 years. About 3 short cars. People prefer their cars to a subway experience or light rail experience like in NYC, Shtcago, Philly or parts of California. When you open the pandoras box of taxes for such a system all the sketch folks exploit it and your mother gets pushed off the subway plaform into an oncoming train. Id say using public transportation wont cure obesity. And then youre a target for the sketch that is increasingly a problem in this dystopian craphole. As it is, closer in to Nastyville, many move from more expensive regions. Driving the cost of living up. Pushing older and poorer citizens out. Ignoring the reality of this and the crime. Putting a BLM sign in their yard or flower bed. While the criminals on catch and release pick you off. But they feel better about this in East Nasty. Pushing out marginalized blk folks. Living near the dangerous parts of Dickerson Road and the road out to Madison. Id say somehow the walking paths were somehow missed here in this forum. And proper diet and exercise and walking your neighborhood would fight obesity regardless. There are gyms you can join in the area as well. But there are other pratfalls besides succumbing to obesity to be concerned about.

@@amraceway yes i sold my home there and moved away. Its more affordable here when i moved to. Less of the endless crime in and around Nastyville. Not as likely to ever have the rolling gamble of public transportation. But still there are leftist policies and leaders here and in the schools who are similarly poisoning out children and our communities. Meth is here like in Nastyville. The homeless grift is here some too. And the reality of public transportation near Nastyville is all those wealthy or well off people out west in Brentwood and Cool Springs arent gonna ever want public transportation out there. They wont use it. And they dont want that tripe pipleined to their neighborhoods. The rest will have no choice and have the predators connected to them at every stop. Google or RUclips the news stations in Nashville Tennessee. Its endless violence, crime and dystopian failure. And the low bail or no bail release unleashes them over and again onto the public. Realtors are just putting lipstick on a pig when it comes to Nastyville.
