- Thanks to everyone who has subscribed and watches my channel, i just do this for the love of the format. I want to be able to make this format as big as it possibly can be.
I thought i had 16 cards in my side deck, its at 15 and the 15 you see :D
Please ensure that you check out Goat Community Italia tcg card market page:www.cardmarket...
Once again a massive thank you to Dawson for his creative deck building.
Bro I had no idea soul exchange works on metamorphosis. I can't believe I didnt realise this. That's genius!
crazy i know haha :D
No, it is basic.
Only faceup for soul exchange to meta because level is unknown
200 to almost 2k followers in a year. Good work bro. Keep up the solid content. We’re a niche community but I definitely appreciate the consistent effort
Yeah dude how crazy 😬 thanks so much for the support !
I'm just glad there were no widespread ruins!
Raust Zachery widespread ruin isn’t a bad card 😂 it happens to work very well in the meta I play here at my locals, due to the style of play of my opponents 👌🏻
@@JinzoTonic yeah its not bad, but why would you play it compared to saku?
@@TheMokeyMokeyChannel at my locals, people tend to poke with the lower attacking monsters and leave the big hitters behind. it helps wipe them out first. I also personally find it better then saku, but thats my opinion.
@@JinzoTonic they dont attack with the big ones at all?
@@TheMokeyMokeyChannel they just so use to saku, they try and bait it out. But with widespread they get a surprise.
Great deck bro, i play a very similar build, the Monarch are a very fun and powerful alter win con in the Goat Format.
KingZERO-610 thanks so much 🙏🏻
Awesome video cheers from America!
Za booma thanks America 😬💪🏻
Apprentice activates on the field and not in the graveyard so if you swap it or they snatch it and then you destroy it in battle, the player who had apprentice on their side of the field gets to special a lv2 or lower spellcaster. That's a very pretty hand of neph, what set is that from?
Came out very recently. Just in the past year or so I think. Some soul fusions or whatever pack it is called? I don’t know newer cards.
Lorena Garcia it’s one effect activates on the field and the other in grave to get another monster. Ah you are right, I completely forgot about that. They changed the ruling or confirmed that ruling in 2006. My mind was obviously to focused on 2005 😂 and the hand of neph comes from HISU.
So apprentice doesnt work with creature swap or snatch steal?
@@dwightchowace Not in goat format. For whatever reason we use an outdated, incorrect ruling from UDE whenever we play goats 🤷
My guy you came a long way
Haha thanks 🤣 in terms of what ?
2:27 It's interesting to hear how many combos pair well with Apprentice Magician. It's not weak to Nobleman of Crossout either.
its a very good card :D
Thank Bud! Keep it up!
Thank you guys for being one of the leaders in this goat format movement 😀
Nice deck bro 🎉
I'm a bit confused by the soul exchange text about " When you offer your monster as a teibute offer the selected monster in place of 1 of your monsters" you need to have a monster on my side of the field to activate it???
The text might have changed over the years.
But you can tribute the monster on your opponents side of the field. And then you can’t conduct your battle phase this turn 🤟🏻
Easy peasy lemon breezy.
jonzo with the frost monarchs are the best
What version of Apprentice Magician are these?
What do you mean?
@@JinzoTonic they look like ultra rares which as far as i know they dont exist in tcg unless its the angle and the light that trick me..
@@_DNA. super rares do exist. They are the prize cards give them a google. Mine are just rares I think 🤔
@@JinzoTonic yes of course i just thought yours were ultras :)
You are better off playing only Thestalos and Mobius as your tribute summons. Think about it, the way monarchs tribute summon is through Soul Exchange, which already removes your opponent's monster. Most of the time the opponent will not have multiple monsters on the field because they don't want to overcommit. I'd say Thestalos to 3, Mobius to 2, and cut Zaborg.
Yeah you are more then welcome to do that ✌🏻my builds are more here to inspire and show what can and can’t be done 😊 I appreciate the feedback and I’m definitely looking at making an updated version of this deck 🔥
What sleeve protectors do you use?
Lance Robinson “mini character guard sleeves” google that and you should find them 🔥 also would love a sub if you feeling kind 😊
swap is so sick when you trade apprentice or sangan and cards like that but I am a magnet for the "chain scapegoats" :(
Thanks for the love 🙏🏻
According to rulings of Petén the dark clown, it would miss timing when tributes for a tribute summon, but on the internet there is plenty of decks using that in soul control decks. Can you explain please??
Well, it works with graceful charity and against delonquint duo. Or you can just use it as a floater.
Metalsoul2012 please see the comment by peredur ✌🏻
@@peredurxiv9174 Peten's problem is that outside of uncommon situations like exiled force on Peten, he ends up being a crappy mystic tomato due to missing timing. You are better off running recruiters instead of him.
What do you think of the build with thunder dragon? Do you know it?
Monarchs are one of my favourite type of monsters but I can't decide which build is better. Have you tried both?
i dont know it, can you send me the list ?
Which tournament did it win, how many players did it have, etc.?
Was my locals and it was 20 people playing. I went 10-0 at the time. All the standard builds were there. It was a long time ago. So I don’t remember the exact decks
I love this list! Good job! But years ago, when i was a child, I found the ultimate version of cyber jar ... and I'm very fond of it :c What do you think I could replace to insert it? ^^
I think I say in the video that you can replace the 3 peten for a cyber jar 🤣 and thanks for the love 👍🏻
@@JinzoTonic
Oops ... Forgive me! XD I think I missed it haha, ty very much ^^
@@davejoshuap haha no worries bro ! but yeah, switch the petens out for a jar and you are good to go ! it will also take the deck to exactly 40 if done that way :)
Hey @Jinzo&Tonic, great Deck Profie! Although i play the version with strike ninja :D Can you tell me how i get those sleeves? They look amazing! Keep up the good work :)
Nevermind, found it in the comments :D
@@larsch501 hahaha was just about to go searching in the comments myself. i got them at my locals but you can find them online :) thanks for the support homie :)
I don't understand where cards you use in the extra deck
Ginoandrea Viola which cards are you referring to ?
I really like Monarch in general and this is my favorite version of Soul Control amongst all the others I’ve stumbled upon on the internet. Anyway, is there a reason for playing 2 Mobius main and Jinzo in the side? I mean if one want to deal with back rows, wouldn’t jinzo be an overall better option? Also, Jinzo doesn’t die to Tsukuyomi Ps. Back in the Domain Monarch Format I also sleeved my Monarch deck exactly like you do here with the exact same kind of sleeves(both inner and outer) 😂
I do agree that I can exchange the Mobius out for the Jinzo and I tend to do that often in game 2. I’m glad you liked my content. I would appreciate a sub if you feeling kind 👍🏻
Thanks, I’m trying to build a soul control deck myself so I thought perhaps Mobius has something I overlooked. I’ve already subbed a while ago. Please keep it up with all the great contents 😁
The problem with Jinzo in this particular deck is in order to get mileage off of summoning it, you have to attack with it. Soul Exchange locks your battle phase which is counterproductive to Jinzo's ability to prevent traps.
@@spectre9065 I see, thanks for the clarification. What you said make a lot of sense even though I still feel that the pros out-weigh the con, but I guess I should just do some testing to feel it for myself. Anyway, thanks again, I was wondering about what I asked until you came.
peten misses timing when tributed for a monarch, not sure what other use it has in here
Never Knows Best if it gets duo, or if you use charity or if it’s destroyed by battle or card effect. It a good floater that people don’t expect ✌🏻
Subbed, I like me goat stuff
D. Plant thanks for the support ✌🏻 be sure to check out all the videos. So many hidden gems
Why would you only run 1 Thestalos? He’s the best Monarch because his effect is pretty much always live as opposed to the others. The whole point of Soul Control is getting a +1 off of tributing your opponent’s monster and then hitting another card. With Zaborg, it’s a lot harder to get that +1 because your opponent needs to have 2 monsters on the field.
Also Granmarg > Mobius. Good GOAT players aren’t going to set more than 1 trap that isn’t chainable. Meaning Mobius and Granmarg usually have the same effect, but Granmarg is more consistently live because it can hit a set monster card as well. You should side Mobius for certain decks/players. And finally Thunder Dragon > Peten if you want to go that route. It does everything you described Peten as doing but it also allows your soul exchange/Brain Control etc. to always be live because you can tribute summon it, plus you can easily get 2 in your hand because of its effect.
The Satirical Troll thanks for the feedback ✌🏻 I will definitely give that a try. Thanks for the support homie ! Would love a sub if you haven’t already ✌🏻
Milan my man ! It’s been ages. Do you have any spicy decks you want to feature? I want to get people to feature their own builds on my channel. Would you be interested?
Milan I understand 🙏🏻 I was meaning if you had some decks in real life that you wanted to showcase I would love to feature them. People love your deck builds ❤️
Mobius destroys UP TO two Spells/Traps and isn't limited to just facedowns. There's more flexibility with Mobius.
Owner of apprentice gets the search when destroyed. Wasn’t changed until 2006. I think skill drain also negates it search.
Very very nice deck though! This was also my original max rarity deck that I had a couple of years ago. Soul exchange is so powerful in goat format. I would suggest max copies!
Blue Version ah ofc, I was obviously still trapped in a 2005 apprentice mindset 😂 and the skill drain only effects monsters on the field, so if they die it will still work ✌🏻
Skill drain still negates apprentice, sadly, as both her effects activate on the field. I had to learn this the hard way when I tried to make my own pixie control variant. I'm currently testing Evan Vargas' soul control list (that lead me here (thank you all for that)) and from my testing soul exchange shines as facedown removal. But that could be my playstyle too so not sure.
@@lorenagarcia8322 oh wow, i did not know that. THANKS FOR THE INFO. :)
I hear that legendary jujitsu master will work under skill drain if it dies by that battle so maybe this works similarly with drain, idk for sure. Sorry about all this confusion.
What the hell is that thing in card's corners?
Mazatzin Keej they are my sleeve protectors :)
What Jinzo&Tonic said, it's a designing part of the sleeves he used.
Are you italian?
team mariabella 56 force of will South African 🙂 but the Italians have the best goat community in the world 🔥💪🏻
@@JinzoTonic I'm also from SA and we have a growing goat community in cape town! Had to come check in the comments because I could tell from the accent.
@@AndrewJones-zv7ud Hey i'm actually from Cape Town and helped get the goat community in Cape Town get going. Played many times against Tyler and Diego whilst in the early stages. Im happy to help grow the community worldwide as well as Cape Town/South Africa. Hey man ! Just a stupid question: if you meta the phoenix, it will return on your next standby ? I think not since it will be tributed and not destroyed, right ? just to be sure
It won’t return if it’s tributed or meta. Only if it’s been destroyed by card effect.
