@@powercoder I'm actually playing through Silent Hill 2 on my Xbox, I've never played it before or any of the Silent Hill games but i got the HD collection after I saw the trailer for the remake. I really liked the movie but never got around to playing any of the games until now.

The game is coming soon for sure, early 2024 seems about right. Konami really kept quiet ever since the game was announced Oct. 2022. I saw in one of there videos, the producer was telling fans not to worry about the release date. For over a year no news at all about the game from konami. I think it is there way of not trying to enticed us too much or else we become impatience.

Konami is not good as making new games now as it needs a lot of resources! But some of their remakes like Metal Gear Solid 3 looks promising. I have high hopes that SH2 remake will be a good game, not outstanding though like IGN 8.0!

As long as they follow in the footsteps of re4 remake, dead space remake, we'll be fine. I've never played the originals and I'm excited for the remake to get me into it so I can appreciate and have the motivation to play the older games too

If you can, TRY and play the original silent hill games. Then you will understand that just following re4 and dead space remake doesn’t apply to silent hill due to the unique atmosphere it provides. I’m cautiously optimistic for the remake but I doubt it will hold a candle to the original.

Yes half baked game like re 4 remake of all things best compare with cut content and such. I can already tell the intro they got for the remake was already failed compare to how it was in the original.

@@iancruz6617 never played the original re4 when it came out. i think the only cut content was the weird sexual dialogue in the cutscenes w the spanish guy? lol i rlly enjoyed re4. and dead space! Never played the og of that either. So I'm excited for this!
