Thank you Adam, once again an amazing video. You helped me make the decision to get the AS deal. I have an rcp site that needs more integration stability... Wp fusion is great but still limited for the purpose. So I'm switching this client to wishlist. One critical feature that hasn't worked well in rcp was custom profile fields. I bought the recommended addon, had trouble with it not respecting required fields and nothing from the 3rd party addon support upon reaching out. Wishlist feels like its all in one box for this particular client site that's grown in requirements. Thanks again mate.

@@sevenx6156 yes, we'll do our best. We've been moving in the direction of monthly releases and we plan to have AffiliateWP in the next release. I'd say it should be approximately 3-4 weeks. We're a bit behind on sharing everything that has been released because we've been so focused on development.
@@tracychilders166 Great News, i bought in the AppSumo Deal but evaluate other Plugins because the lack of a seamless AffiliateWP integration and the there is no possibility to use coupons on registrations. Is there any plans to add a coupon/discound code feature?
@@sevenx6156 Hi SevenX. Definitely adding an integration for AffiliateWP. Coupons are a little different because most of the payment options we integrate with are using the order forms and coupon codes on their system. We handle forms for PayPal and Stripe. We're looking at ways to add them for those two. Stripe may be easier since they already have it in their system.

I'm glad you made this video. I clicked your link to buy. I was going to buy it anyway since their product has been tried and tested since the time of Noah (the ark man or okdork?). I have a policy to buy tools from reputable vendors on AppSumo if I may think there's a need. I don't want to regret it in the future. $132 (after Plus discount) is a small investment with a huge benefit. Thanks Adam!
Hey Adam, thanks again for the idea you mentioned about linking products to membership levels inside of WooCommerce at timestamp 19:30. We made that update and it's included in a release we pushed out today. You were right, this will definitely be more convenient. :)
Tracy Childers Well that’s great service!! 👍 Is it fair to assume that if you’re linking WooCommerce products in this way, you would need WooCommerce Subscriptions to handle recurring payments or can WishList Member still handle the monthly billing?
@@wptoys Yes, that's correct. It's based on the status of the order in WooCommerce. If you want to accept recurring payments it's handled by WooCommerce and you'll need their subscriptions plugin. We're also starting to look into that as an option on our end. ;)

Thanks for the review Adam. I bought this deal two months ago on appsumo and upon hearing all the negative comments about it in the ontraport groups I was thinking about returning it before even trying it out... the new release seems to fix most of the issues these people there complain about so I guess I’ll stick with it.
One question though, what’s the difference between a membership plugin and a digital course plugin (like learndash)?
I think it’s pretty much the same isn’t it? Protected content... so why is one preferred over the other? What am I not understanding??

Thank you Adam. I want to set up a member website in which members can see each others profile and can contact each other. I do not need to sell content. Members can view each other's profile and approach each other (privately). A kind of dating site. At first it is free but later you have to pay. I don't know BudyBoss yet, but it seems to be able to do much more than Whishlist member. Do I need Whishlist for different types of member prices? What is the benefit when you already have something like BudyBoss? Thank you.

Exactly! Not one video on youtube shows what an actual site freaking look likes and they are so hungry for the sale that they forget to show what the main function of the plugin is about which is"membership sites".

Is WhisList member integrate with TA? I mean at TA you need MultiRoles system (you have A role = A course, B role = B course) and you can as well get access for more levels at (TA).
So question is Wishlist member able to do (create or asign) more roles into one plan?
I mean I need system like ThriveThemes has. One Membership and then selling courses which I want to buy. (but for one account).

I am trying to decide between PaidMemberhsipsPro and Wishlist. As I understand it, Wishlist allows for easy multiple memberships (level) so one person can buy several things (simple membership, LearnDash membership, etc.), but PMP has an add on that seems in beta.
As I understand it, databases are relational. Is WishList built to treat memberships as their own entity (and therefore allow an unlimited number of easy memberships per user) whereas PMP uses the membership as the parent record?

Great tutorial. Does it recognize upsells and downsells with Cartflows? I've wasted same amount of money with Ultimate Membership Pro. Also, does it work with elementor pro front page? I want to customize the look of my pages and lock certian sections of elementor designs. Thank you Adam.
It should work just fine with elementor. Nothing on Whislist depends on how you build your pages or posts. So I don't see any potential conflict.
We use Elementor ourselves both the free version and Pro version. We love Elementor and will ALWAYS be compatible with it. WishList Member will also work right out of the box with Cartflows. If there is ever a problem with that we will fix it quickly. I really like Cartflows myself.

What would be your ideal membership setup now? I watched your previous video about building a membership website but wanted to see if that's change.
So far I will be using your affiliate links to get:

- learndash
- cartflows
- woocommerce
- divi (had divi for years now, should I switch to elementor?)

Currently I have a wp site but my membership site is on clickfunnels
oh and I also am using your link to get voo player (instead of vimeo) and use Namecheap for hosting. Should I consider a different host?

Hey Peter, I use the same stack except I use Elementor. If Divi is working for you and your site is already built, no sense in switching. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Elementor over Divi. I know for sure Adam is using LearnDash and Elementor now. He has been suggesting a new theme called Kadence lately but I'm still using Astra bc I have a lifetime agency license. If you have any questions on the tools you mentioned, feel free to reach out.

Does Wishlist Member add much to Learndash? Is it worth combining them?
It's not needed these days. LearnDash has it's own membership features.
They seem a little dodgy... I had their website on the screen for quite a while and on the bottom left those popups showing supposed purchases kept cycling and if you keep an eye on it the same guy pops up saying he bought a 3 site license then a few minutes later he shows up having just bought a 10 site license and you guessed it a little while later he gets a 50.
I can understand how it can come across that way, I think its more the people redeeming the codes for this sale that is throwing it off. They have added around 5k new users in the past 30 days.
Lol... @Richard, I was probably 'that guy' because that's exactly how I purchased it over about a week and a half period of time... 1st code, then 2nd code and finally a 3rd code. Lol
@@WPCrafter This is correct. We're using Evidence and when people are redeeming the codes, they start with 3, then move up from there.
Thanks for pointing this out Richard. I have felt that way at times when looking at other sites. I went back and pulled any upgrades out so it's only showing people with their initial purchases now. :)

Adam - Usually find your info spot-on, but at 06:40 you said "... MemberPress is $649 for your first year, then it doubles the next year." I use MemberPress & love it. I don't pay that much; can you explain where you got the pricing you mentioned? memberpress.com/plans/pricing.
I completely mis-spoke. Unfortunalty I can't go back and change a video. The cost is $549 today, $349 for the first year. However they play around with the price a lot, but the point I was trying to make is the price doubles year 2.

Once I lost three years with one project because it was built on an unrecognizable platform.
Only a few developers could work with this platform.
I couldn't impact the process.
I couldn't provide simple modules and blocks.
That's why I like Wordpress because of its plugins.
They save a lot of time and money.
If you use other CRM - you need to build yourself new modules and techs.
In Wordpress, it's not.
That's why 36% of all websites are using Wordpress.
