When I was a boy our family would gather at my great Uncle Algernon's farm for the harvest. The corn picker was a two row. Not only could we only harvest two rows at a time at about 1/4th this speed but there was no way you could run the auger on the fly. The bean picker was an open cab case. It was an antique way back then! Absolutely ridiculous by comparison.

Actually this is false 😂😂😂 Imagine you have a John Deere 9770sts combine running an 8 row corn header. Well if you put a 12 row header on it then it loses basically all of its power. You are way more efficient with the 8 row. Now with bigger combines like a lexion 8900 or 8800 or an X9 you are more efficient with a larger head.
