Josh and Corey wants Stone Sour to be more "POPular", if you know what i mean... Jim doesn't give a fuck to this, he wants take a time and then make good music, like they always did.
@@TheLucasGregory I'm pretty sure, that something definitely happened behind the scenes between Jim and all other Stone Sour members somewhere between tour of 2012 and release of HoGaB Part 2. You can even see that Jim is too bland on stage during 2013 shows. Perhaps it was overexposure for Stone Sour, but I can really see that something did go south with him and the band. Some time ago I was running Russian Stone Sour official fan community (we were approved by Warner Music Russia) and one dude from our team had this "brilliant idea" of spamming every band member on Facebook regarding Jim's departure. Suddenly, Josh replied to him with several messages. Cannot find them anymore due to transfer from Android to iOS, but Josh's messages heavily implied that there was a lot of tension between Jim and other members of the band (except Corey) regarding Slipknot album and contractual obligations. And having seen Stone Sour with Christian Martucci in place of Jim twice (2017 and 2018), I can say that, although I miss this "golden lineup" of Stone Sour, there's a strong chemistry with new lineup. Things just change.
Alexander Prokudin Eventually Jim did say he wanted to do more with Slipknot than S.S But Yeah, I think he got tired and wanted to focus on one band only
@@alexanderprokudin1218 To each their own but Stone Sour is just a bar band without Jim in my opinion and Josh is the most boring guitar player I've ever seen. No personality, no soul just efficiency

Wesley Warren haha Y’all are a trip. Didn’t he also have a mental breakdown not to long after Cory kicked Jim out of SS too? Not only is Jim the man. He also has an eye for what ppl wont in gear. He has more signature models than anybody in the game right now. And they are best sellers, guitars,Orange amps, straps, picks and now EMG pickups.

@BrinkOfInsanityMusic it has to do with the idea of the natural course the energy in your body follows and shes using hers to influence his to help with his stress or whatever. its just another form of massage

@coreytaylorsmask yeah thats a better way to put it :) no i know they ve matured and i love that tbh 2008-2009 slipknot was my favourite era and i dont think ahig was a sell-out record like alot of "so-called" maggots said but its the fact 1999-2005 corey used to go on about how great slipknot was and it was his fav then 2006-2007 he said that stone sour was 2008-2009 he sort of forgot and loved slipknot after download he used his awesomeness from slipknot to stone sour then talked how he luv ss

@maxisslipknot well maybe he does enjoy it better than slipknot, i mean, they've said how its really hard to be in slipknot before with how crazy they are and how they're stuck in those masks. and corey didn't rejoin stone sour til 2002, besides, back then he was just younger and he was alot crazier back then, they were really pissed off at every little thing in the world back then, but they've grown up and progressed, they didn't sell out. just saying.
