- Hello adventurers! 🌍 Welcome to my "Discover the Dales Way" series. #dalesway #yorkshire #hiking
In this series we explore the breathtaking walking route from Ilkley in the Yorkshire Dales all the way to the largest lake in The Lake District: Lake Windermere in Cumbria.
🏞️ In this third part of our journey we travel from the Watershed, where the River Wharfe ends, to the M6 motorway, right on the border of Cumbria and the end of The. It's our last leg through beautiful Yorkshire!
Along the way we pass the imposing Three Peaks of Yorkshire, walk through mysterious moorlands haunted by legends such as the Barghest, and visit the charming village of Dent, famous for its rich knitting traditions. 🧶
So put on your walking shoes 👟 and discover the magic of the Dales Way in England with me! 🇬🇧👣

Hi, Barghest is also a Wild Hound not far from Bree, in the comutergame : LOTRO Lords of the Rings onlinegame. So Tolkien used the Barghest also in his books.
