social media is sooo fast & fleeting. i think that slowness, goal-setting, and progress check-ins often get lost or forgotten about! everyone just races to post the most shocking title/ before & after photo/ success story. ^^^ and that goes for EVERYTHING (skincare, entrepreneurial advice, music career journeys, weight loss advice, financial content, etc). people don't always click on the video where the "AFTER" photo shows hyperpigmentation that's only faded a *little* bit since the BEFORE photo. they don't always click the video where the person is only 5 lbs more fit than when they started. we tend to want drastic results, instantly, but skincare doesn't work like that. NOTHING works like that!😂 hence, why this video is 4 months long. so here's my skincare progress from February to June, after some breakouts and reactions to products i'd been having! i really hope that this can inspire more of you to be accepting of your skin's current state, and excited about all of the progress that comes along with new knowledge & the right products. when it comes to skin, results are slow, patience is key, and flaws are FINE!😍 so glad i filmed it all☺️
The DDG pads are great but i find it's too strong to be using every day. I tried to use them for two weeks straight at first too, but, stopped half way because my skin was becoming irritated (you are after all exfoliating every single time you use it). I cut it down to about 2x/week and the results were great. Also made the pads last longer
that is my exact prediction for my results as well! if i weren't challenging myself to follow the instructions directly from the box for 2 weeks straight, i would use them the same way you mentioned! we'll see👀 updating you guys this week🖤
I think you should try an elimination diet hun. You may be having breakouts b/c of something that you eat regularly like dairy, sugar or certain breads. Usually that's the cause of continuous breakouts. Great vid and I hope your progress continues!
