Based on all of my research, I strongly believe that Daenerys will be brought back to life in the Jon Snow series. Her storyline and descent into madness was way too rushed. This was such a let down to millions of us as GOT fans. Daenerys story was of the triumphant heroine that set captives free and that inspired hundreds of thousands to follow her. They were mesmerized by her beauty, her strength, her generous heart, and the magical abilities she had that gave birth to her dragons. We all fell in love with her as we watched the inspiring journey she had been on throughout the first seven seasons of GOT. Then, in the span of 2 episodes, she spiraled into a deep depression, and went mad making that snap decision to level an entire city which killed millions. Jon had to kill her in order to stop her slaughter of millions more innocent people. It was a tough pill to swallow as a deep admirer of her character in the show.
I equally believe in the theory that the Night King, being a Warg , escaped out of his own body and into Bran’s right before Arya dealt the killing blow. This would explain why Bran did NOTHING as he sat under the Weirwood tree during the battle of Winterfell. He wouldn’t need to fear his death because he already knew that he would BECOME the Night King. Fans had wondered why Bran didn’t warg into Vicseryion and control him to help in the battle. He didn’t want to help.
This would also explain his enigmatic response to becoming the King of Westeros when he asked, “Why do you think I’ve come all this way?”
I think that these are the best possibilities to further the storyline, and complete the character arcs of Daenerys, Jon, Arya, Bran, and the Night King in a much more satisfying way.
i always though danys response to the bells ringing to surrender wasnt like her we havent ever seen her make a facial expression like that ever in the series what if he warged into her at the moment and made her do that. afterwards she was so calm and peaceful which seemed wierd too almost like she didnt realize what she had done or why. the whole thing was just odd. jon snow is still a prick though who kisses a girl and stabs her in the heart. sheesh

Let’s not forget that when Jon told Daenerys his Aegon, she told him to keep quiet! To not tell anyone! She didn’t want to share the throne, after all she’s been trough… she deserved it! The throne I mean! Although, I personally think that she would’ve been better in where she was before coming to Westeros!

I mean, over the course of the last 3 seasons, she was getting more and more, er, decisive, in how she dealt with her enemies. I don't think she was insane at all, I think she just decided that King's Landing was irridemable, and went with it.
We do know that George Martin himself has recently said that in his upcoming book, some of the people killed in the show are still alive in his books. He said one person of great importance will still be very much alive in his books. While speculation runs rampant, way back in 2007 at a conference I attended, he said that when this all ends, a Targaryen will sit on the throne. Many people around him have said that Daenerys is the person that is still alive in his story and that he was not thrilled with the series ending, especially given the role Daenerys likely yet plays in his story. During this same conference in 2007, he also admitted he had a special place in his heart for Daenerys. I think when you add it all up, not only is he not done with Daenerys in his story, but I wonder if the producers of the show know this as well and if they do, how does this influence this show going forward. The fundamental difference I see is that HBO's version of the series has John Snow as the main focal point/character and in the story from George Martin, Daenerys is and likely will continue to be the main focal point/character of the story.
I believe dany is alive but if snow is half Targaryen he trumps her. So Targaryen actually arnt most special house unless they are literally last of the dragon lords by got era. Otherwise it could be any velaryian, preferably dragon lord, related to the hero. Why Jon is better? Blood, assuming he's also got innate magic. The Targaryen bloodline was missing stark blood until snow. Blood of whatever is in north. I believe they say first men but I mean greenseer potential or warging. Fun fact, targaryens can't warg their dragons without a magic artifacts. They bond to dragons because they are just dragon kin. Again dany isn't a bad character just everything is about blood when dealing with magic and creatures like walkers and dragons and who knows what else is out there
Daeanarys returns to take the throne back, Jon Snow is the only one who can unite the south and north to defeat her, Danny and Drogon die at the end.........show ends with 3 dragon eggs hinting at the cyclic repeat of events...idk who knows

Bran said he couldn’t become lord of winterfell because he isn’t just a man anymore. Then when asked to be king he says “why do you think I’m here” something never seemed right about that and it was something I noticed the second bran says “why do you think I’m here” turned down winterfell his home but he can become king?

I think my biggest issue with Dany going mad was that it stopped us from getting a direct confrontation between her are Cersi in the end. I can understand (not wholeheartedly agree and absolutely not condone the mess D&D gave us!) that Dany could become filled with overwhelming anger when trying to take over Kings Landing. She had lost a lot. She had been through so much. I get that it would be coming to a boil for her by being in Kings Landing and almost to the Iron Throne. What I can’t get or understand is how or why she wouldn’t go straight for Cersi and make her pay. If D&D really wanted to make Dany go mad and kill a bunch of regular people and burn it all they should have taken HBOs request for another season or even more episodes! They did everyone so dirty and D&D should be blacklisted for ever being part of any entertainment. They absolutely ruined a great show because they wanted to be free to do other work.
Snow being a rollback to season 6 would be the best way to introduce it.
Dany’s journey has always been the story. If Dany was pregnant by Jon that could mean their child could be the Prince that was promised. HBO please pay Emila Clarke whatever it takes to get her back and you will be the #1 show again!!!!!

I would love to see Jon heading deeper north only to find that there is a great evil behind the white walkers and that evil has also manifested itself inside Bran as the 3 eyed raven, and this evil is so great that Jon would have to return to the home of his ancestors Vyleria to reawaken the magic of the 14 flames(Which can only be awaken with blood of a dragon lord) as it is the only magic strong enough to defeat this great evil. And in between this he'd have to face more obstacles and dangers as he journeys to Vyleria while also coming to terms with his ancestral heritage and realizing that he has no choice but to kill Bran(his brother) and sit on the ion throne and use the magic of the 14 flames(which could perhaps be awakening an army of dragons all under Jons control) to defeat the great evil in the far north.
Can I like make a what-if story out of this? Or like switch up and add some stuff to this ?
Well, he doesn't seem to have trouble killing kin now, does he? The writers ruined his character and many others with their cartoonish ending. Other than a total rewrite of the last season (or last few), it's hard to imagine a story going forward where people would be invested in any of these characters. At least HOTD exists in the timeline before any of this nonsense, so I can enjoy that!

I think that with all that happened in the last season, Daenerys should definitely come back. That will make everyone feel better about how the season ended. I really don't think there's a need to make Sansa the villain if, Daenerys is back.

One thing I've noted is that, because Blood Moon didn't have dragons, or at least not having dragons was a significant factor, they cancelled the series after it's second pilot was delivered. It's interesting that they're going through with Snow's series. It's hard to say if the same thinking is still being applied, but it does lend some credability to Jon having to deal with Drogan.

Brandon Rivers, the old 3 eyed raven was a powerful sorcerer and more cunning than little finger with his scheming. One theory I have is that Bran is somewhat possessed in part by whatever Is left of the original 3 eyed raven and that he drove Daenerys to madness through magic on purpose so that John would have no choice but to kill her, he could send John to the wall for the crime and take the throne as king. “Why do you think I came all this way” is what he said when he was named king which blatantly conveyed that he knew already that would be the outcome. It’s the only way her abrupt heal turn would make logical sense to me. It also makes sense that the fight with the others isn’t over yet because the one who was promised was killed before she could fulfill her destiny and defeat them.(yes, I think Daenerys is the princess who was promised in the prophecy) Even Aemon Targaryen thought so in a light bulb moment before he died when he found out Daenerys successfully woke dragons from stone
I think it might be a combo of what you listed... 1st Dynaris was stabbed in the heart like Jon. ....so I think she will come back against Jon ...at first. But as time goes on they will have to join again against a common enemy. They both possibly will agree to both be rulers...nit marriage but as a family. That's just a start. ....

there was soooo much potential for this show, i will never understand why they rushed the last season. I honestly believe it would've been better to just stop at s7 and wait for future series to take it over. But after listening to this channel I realize that there's still so much mysteries, so many questions, a lot of interesting characters. Whatever they decide to do 1 thing is sure, there's still a lot of potential with the lore. House of the Dragon was great but it's not as wide as GOT

The 3ER theory is the only one that ties into the show series enough. It could explain why the NK allows himself to be killed because he basically became bran. The hodor plot line foreshadows the warging of a human mind. I'd be pissed if snow introduced fish people as the new big bad...

What if Bran is the real enemy, and the White Walkers are trying to save humanity from him.
Maybe since Bran’s powers originate in the far north beyond the wall (close to the heart of winter) and Volantis is so close to Valyria, arguably the source of fire magic in Planetos, he could be blocked or something 🤷♀️
I’m not sure how I feel about this series… I can’t really think of anything that would truly save season 8 apart from redoing it entirely, which is never going to happen. What would be the 8th grade book report themes of this series other than trying to rewrite what is already done? Having Daenerys come back would be probably one of the better ideas. Her madness and death were some of the main agitators with the ending, and many people (including myself) would love to see Khaleesi again. I have no idea where the Deep Ones would come into JON’S story. I’m betting they’ll be relevant in the books since Euron seems like he’s been up to something last we left off.
ALSO - The prophecy states when the longnight comes a Targaryan must be sitting imon the iron thrown. And when it came Cercei still held the throne so that was also not fulfilled.

The theory I've had floating around my head for a long time is that Bran the Broken will eventually end up as the night king coupling the powers of the three eyed raven with the night king in order to forever jail the dead within their graves. How the story would proceed from where we left off to that point would of course be the meat and potatoes of the story. Given Jon Snow is already headed back to castle black. Presumably to serve again as lord commander. This gives us point of origin for events to start to unfold. Lady Deathwhisper, Benjen Stark, and the many peoples of the wildlings/free folk could serve as an expanded cast around whom the events left out of Martin's works as put forth from his books. Just shifted within the overall timeline. Or perhaps even played out in a kind of retcon flashback series.
It could potentially feature the stories of the Maisters of the Citadel. And the roles they have played these many centuries manipulating events to bring about who knows what end. I am hoping that the House of the Dragon will eventually cover the events leading up to the fall of Valeria. It is a rich and vibrant world that could be explored extensively.

@@catherineervin2630 Well I was thinking about the prophecy, and thought it made sense, I mean a Prince born from Fire and Ice Jon is both Fire and Ice due to his mother being a Stark and father a Targeryn and Daenerys is Fire, plus a resurrection via a Red Priestess would involve the Lord of the Light and if I recall on HOTD Viserys said to Rhaenerys that the Targaryen's are closer to God? I just think if this is true then perhaps a child born from Daenerys after a resurrection would be gifted in some way, just like how Dany doesnt burn. Food for thought.
Bringing back Daenerys would be the only way I'd watch this new show. Highly unlikely that she's in the cast. There would be leaks everywhere.
I'd be absolutely livid if Snow was to claim Drogon. That adds salt to the wound of killing off my favorite character.
Whatever happens will involve John and some threat capable of ending man. Drogo’s reappearance is almost a given. As for Daenerys, remember the first thing John did upon waking was to kill everyone who’d killed him. Also, Daenerys had a very dark soul and equally dark vision of mankind. If she lives she is more likely the enemy. The battle between the God of light and God of dark makes most sense.

My guess is dragon resurrects khaleesi , the white walkers come back, John is released to find dragon, reconciles with khaleesi who is avoiding the people after what happened, comes back to stop the white walker invasion, this time John snow stops it. They are a couple again and live happily ever after in his original home.😅

Emilia Clarke said she won't be returning as Dany. During an interview with BBC, when the actress was asked outright if she would return as Daenerys, she said, "No, I think I'm done.". She said she talked to Kit about the spin off and she knows stuff about it but she won't be in it
I don't blame her; she had some serious health situations during shooting the show. It makes sense that she'd want to try new projects after the boost GoT gave her career. All props to her for powering through it but I have a FAR less glamourous job and I'd want to try something new.
So we might well be getting Dany, but recast. And I'm not sure that'd fly, without some heavy work-in story. Something about the ressurection magic requiring a human sacrifice, and now *that* body is the actress...

Jon IS the prince who was promised, because he never became king. He stayed a prince. The prophecy didn't say king or queen that was promised.

Though the show screwed it up, Dany was always destined to be a mad king type. She displayed her cruelty and temper throughout her exploits.
Just because she has the moral high ground many of you excused her behavior. It is not unlike how Hitler or any other evil ruler gets in.
At the end of the day she was wrong about her being next in line, and she didn't give a shit. Would have killed Jon if he wasn't willing to submit, imo.

@@Senorsmokey People get caught up in others doing far worse in the story, and the fact that Dany was a victim of constant abuse and rape. Throw in that she grew up with nearly ALL bad influences as the Dothraki were about as bad as it gets.
She overcame those dire circumstances, and became an absolute force to reckoned with. She became increasingly braggadocious and forceful.
Yet all the while she experienced trauma after trauma. The show tried too hard to subvert expectations, and made her switch to full dark side abrupt and awkward.

The one about drogon being a potential threat without a rider is great imo. Esp since he may have ate that little girl when he was in his rebellious stage.
What if…. Jon claims drogon and THEN Daenerys is resurrected…. Drogon brought her body over there but like you said jon had orders to go claim him so he just happened to find drogon when Daenerys was in the care of the red priestesses before being woken…
That would be really interesting, but no one in the story has ever claimed more than one dragon in their lifetime. Sure, Jon didn’t have the closest bond with Rhaegal, but just the fact that Rhaegal trusted him enough to fly him into battle or even fly him to begin with means there was a dragonbond. Riders whose dragons died before they did never claimed another dragon, but who knows? 🤷♀️
@@nevaehaho61 rhaegal and jon don’t really count imo or that it was a very weak bond. However, there’s nothing that would stop a valyrian from claiming more than one dragon as long as their dragon had passed away. The only time they can’t claim another is while their dragon is still alive and vice versa
@@quailjailss Yeah, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible for Jon to claim Drogon, I’m just saying it’s never happened before that we’re aware of. I’m completely open to the idea :)
I've always said since they announced a possible Jon Snow series, that Daenarys could easily be brought back, (like you pointed out) I have also had a problem not knowing what happened to all of Crasters baby boys?? I've also wondered how Bran would do without any weirwood trees, nearby??

I love the theory that Drogon actually brings Dany to Essos to bring her back to life with the lord of light priestesses. It would make sense that is why Drogon didn’t kill Jon because he knew there was hope.
Maybe Dragon went off to burn the script so they would have to rewrite the last season. That's my hope, lol.

The John Snow sequel can not survive without the resurrection of Daenarys. Those 2 were supposed to continue the Targaryen line. There would be much more story to a Daenarys TV series than a Snow series. Pay attention HBO.

1. Visarys- forcing a Khaal to give him a crown by holding a sword at Dany's belly- how stupid is that.?
2. Varys- feared by all in Kingslanding- trying to poison her inbred ass?
3. Tyrion- supposed to be the smartest man in Westeros- when he returns he makes one stupid mistake after another- all so we can feel sympathy for Dany.
4. Jon- season 7- showing off to Danny how good a fighter he is and a dragon dies- now how stupid is that.? Season 8- he knows only 3 words: Se Mi Kweeeen.
5. Night king- 7 seasons marching to wall only to die at Winterfell- that is his entire plot line- so that Dany can look good and elicit sympathy.
Theory: Drogon flew Deanerys body to Valantis…where Melisandre is from. A red priestess will use the same resurrection spell that brought Jon Snow back to bring Deanerys back. Jon and Danny will be at odds at first, but they will have to unite to defeat the return of the Night King and the Army of the Dead.

I think Daenarys will come back; her reign was not fully completed and there is a purpose for Jon Snow. I agree with Sarah, there is No story without Daenarys but I also want to add neither without Jon Snow.

What if Daenerys is resurrected (which we all know has to happen to make this show possible) and she returns with Jon and her child. It had been confirmed that Dany was in fact pregnant at the end of the story. What if she returns to life and so does the child or children that she never thought she could have came back to life as well

Everyone is saying Daenarys should be brought back to life that he fall the madness was rushed ... There's 7 season " rush" to madness ... They didn't rush it ... She shouldn't be brought back ... Ik everyone sees her as a victim ... But she murdered thousands of innocent civilians .. She did not know right from wrong at the end .... She would've been the mad queen or she would've just killed everyone .... Jon snow on the other hand being the promised prince would be a good thing .. And her dragon not killing him ...I think means that he new the throne was corrupting his mother and that he understood why Jon killed her ... Even though he was sad I think he understood because she was mad and corrupted ...
I want more of the long night storyline, jon snow in the deepest part far north fighting against the end of the world, focused on magic prophecy and supernatural elements on game of thrones universe. I think the three eyed raven might be better explored from a different character like Arya

Arya Stark is the prince that was promised. For several seasons she was called "boy", she is now faceless and can be anyone, she always said she wasnt a lady, she killed the night king and she holds the dagger.
