    Not impressed at all by that so-called ''ad''. By the way, I can't see ''Uncle Joe'' retiring
    voluntarily !

    I do care a lot about some of the issues they reference, but my Lord, that ad is nauseating! It's the pandering for me... couldn't be less relatable.
    Also, Lanae, you have a really nice speaking voice and are a pleasure to listen to. Keep it up!!🥰

    Yeah, the “You know, I’m out here in these streets” part was so cringe to me.
    My husband has had “they not like us” on Repeat(1) since it came out! I have nothing against the song except for the fact that he won’t stop playing it 😭. But seriously, on Juneteenth Kendrick Lamar performed that song in LA and was able to get top folks from both the Crips and the Bloods out on the stage dancing together… this is something that’s never been done before (in my lifetime anyways), so I’m all for that kind of positive step in the right direction! I kinda felt like they used the line as an “us vs them” thing in the commercial

      They absolutely used it as a term of division. They are making it a black against other races type of thing. KH may be part black but I know for a fact from listening to her she has zero idea about black culture! If there is one thing I cannot stand it is someone trying to fake being something they are not.

    • @caseyj779
      @caseyj779 Месяц назад +1

      I made a comment and YT decided it was not going to post. I will just rewrite it and if they both post later oh well. They used the term not like us in a way as a term of division. It was their way of saying we are black and those other people aren’t like us. I don’t think Harris knows anything about black culture! She may be part black but her trying to use it to get votes is sickening. She definitely is not living black culture! Her husband and his kids are white. She does not even have a black family. She is more Indian than anything and lives with Indian culture because that is how she grew up. Her trying to talk about spicy food and stuff is so cringy.
