I posted this on another SK ranking video but I think that it's not (at least entirely) that it's new but that as SK goes along they improve in terms of production value. I genuinely think there's so many elements of TGWDLM that makes it one of their best yet. But as you can see, Starship had a song that was #2, and that's definitely not shiny and new.

Yeah, I totally agree! I'm in love with StarKid villain songs, but "Rogues Are We" was the best in my opinion. The way each character was clearly different: you could see all of their personalities. It sounded amazing as well, the harmonies killed me. It may me my favourite StarKid song of all time. I'm seriously baffled as to why it didn't receive more votes.

I like that when forced to choose ONE song, the community gravitated toward a lot of the most emotional and serious songs (I Was, Not Your Your Seed, Not Alone, World's at Stake, Status Quo, The Way I Do, Twisted, If I Believed)
A few thoughts from very different places in my head: 1) All of Twisted is so LOVED and it makes my heart warm to see so many numbers from that show here. 2) SSN only wins polls because it's a meme and new SK fans are obsessed with Robert (we all knew he was a talented bean since Twisted). As a music graduate who wrote a dissertation on musical theatre, it's not even that good a song. 3) I am shook that you cut off Inevitable before "Emma! ... let me PUKE IN YOUR MOUTH" That's all for now. SSN is a good song. In my opinion it’s one of the best solo songs in a starkid show (although as soon as Dylan Saunders opens his mouth it’s game over for me). It’s been really played out but take a moment to appreciate it for what it is. We ALL were obsessed w it at some point. Sometimes you’ve gotta step away from it for a bit to do so and that’s okay. Let people enjoy starkid in whatever way they choose :)

Yall, nothing has ever impacted the dikrats more than SSN, on both a positive and negative level. Its a great song, and yes Starkid has so many other great songs, but SSN is new and kinda deserves the attention. Also this is a FAN VOTE. So respect Starkid, the dikrats, and Robert Manion (the god himself) and just enjoy the music 😊✌

Really breaks my heart “to have a home” didn’t make it. Darren killed it and It’s so beautiful and perfectly exemplifies how I feel about Harry Potter.
It's such a beautiful song. The Potter musicals are brilliant and hilarious, but I find that the moments like Missing You, To Have A Home and Everything Ends to be really touching moments.
Don't get me wrong, Show Stopping Number is an amazing song, but I feel like the only reason I like it is because it's quite funny. Honestly, there are many other songs that sound much prettier.
I'm really sad that I was isn't getting the recognition it deserves because it's not only catchy but we'll sung and someone what deep. It shows how similar Tom and Harry are and how certain things changed them it shows Harry struggle when people where Turing on them and it showed how Tom felt plus the harmonies are just beautiful in my opinion but people are just sleeping on it and it makes me sad. Yall, nothing has ever impacted the dikrats more than SSN, on both a positive and negative level. Its a great song, and yes Starkid has so many other great songs, but SSN is new and kinda deserves the attention. Also this is a FAN VOTE. So respect Starkid, the dikrats, and Robert Manion (the god himself) and just enjoy the music 😊✌

Yes it’s a good song, and yes it deserves attention, but not as much attention as it’s getting, it’s just getting boring seeing this as number one on every video no matter what the topic, other songs deserve attention too, like Ani, Haunted by the Kiss, You Got the Force, Even Though, Listen To Your Heart, Ready To Go, Speedrun, Beauty, or Dynamic Duet

And Ani slaps, don't get me wrong, but not every fan is super versed or knowledgeable about everything. Everything Starkid does is great and the fans are obviously passionate if we are fighting for all other songs/musicals to be #1. It's such a beautiful song. The Potter musicals are brilliant and hilarious, but I find that the moments like Missing You, To Have A Home and Everything Ends to be really touching moments.

Don't get me wrong, Show Stopping Number is an amazing song, but I feel like the only reason I like it is because it's quite funny. Honestly, there are many other songs that sound much prettier.
I'm really sad that I was isn't getting the recognition it deserves because it's not only catchy but we'll sung and someone what deep. It shows how similar Tom and Harry are and how certain things changed them it shows Harry struggle when people where Turing on them and it showed how Tom felt plus the harmonies are just beautiful in my opinion but people are just sleeping on it and it makes me sad. Like ssn is a good song but it's not the best and it makes me pissed my brother said he only like that song because of the dance and feel like that is why it's so popular okay I'm done ranting
