Man, I remember when Howard Chan took the 1/6 world by storm when the original DX Bespin Luke came out. I don't think I ever preordered something so fast before. It's still one of the treasured items in my display. What an incredible deal it was! I have the "clean" Luke sitting in the Sideshow Yoda hut environment, impatiently eating soup with Hot Toys Yoda, while the beaten and bruised Luke fights Vader in a different display. I have the exclusive, so I keep the Vader/Luke helmet outside the hut. Despite the loud noise I'm seeing from other collectors, the old 2-pack still holds up in person, and I feel no need to "upgrade" them to the CGI Mando Luke face. I'm waiting for in-hand shots, but there's something special about this old set. It really kicked off the Hot Toys domination of 1/6 Star Wars and changed the game.

I think the new Bespin looks great. It looks like he's slightly bulkier. Im so happy w/ my DX, the weather vane really makes the difference for me. But this is a great opportunity for those that missed out on the original. Great vid Trevor!
