After warping my gate with an anti-sag cable kit, this is my attempt to fix it with this True Latch steel brace. Spoiler: works and looks about the same so far, but hopefully it will work better over time!

Sorry your gate is still warped. But at least it doesn’t drag and get stuck on the ground. I watched your first video on the gate which made me not buy the wire and it sucked when the second wire didn’t help, but I see your theory on balancing it out. Great to see you found something that worked. I’m probably gonna get one for my sagging gate.

Your gate is warped because that angle needs tension to prevent sagging(cable) and the opposite angle needs compression. Leave the cable, install the metal rod opposite to make an x with the cable, this preventing both compression and tension from warping your gate

I've been using cedar wood to build the frames to the gates i build. It has a less chance of warping

The gate needs to be redone by scratch or redo the fence to level the fence on both sides. My fence is getting that so could be from the hinges need to be aligned straight and leveled and maybe it won’t get like that maybe.

I have a sagging door in our patio. Would the true Latch Brace work for that as well?

I've used the $15 cable kit with the same result, warping. You then installed another $15 cable kit and crossed the other cable. Based on your vid, that did not work. I wonder, if you had installed the 2nd $15 cable kit on the other side of the gate (1 inside and 1 outside) but on the same 2 corners, would that have worked.
Wood do warp over time when using the $15 cable set. You could install the $15 cable set on the opposite side, on the same corners, to unwarp your gate.
Thank you for the vid. Nice presentation.

That's an interesting idea putting them on opposite sides.

That cable will bent the corners. I had to replace the wood
