I absolutely LOVE that you started with a completely filthy keyboard. Most folks just clean already clean stuff and wipe and wipe, and wipe again. It's MUCH more satisfying to see something go from absolutely filthy to clean. Thank you!
I thought my keyboard was filthy after removing the keys. Mine was nothing compared to this.
Okay, let's be real. I get that this is ASMR, but really, that initial clean required a vacuum. Loosening everything and the suck it all up before cleaning. When you don't do that, you run the risk of pushing schmutz into the motherboard, which is a whole other thing.
I get the video for the video's sake, but we both know that a good vacuum before cleaning is the best thing to avoid ruining the board beneath.

I cleaned the exact same keyboard on the video not the exact same just the exact type of keyboard and brand not that keyboard on the screen it’s the same brand and same version and then I customise it after to look one piece themed for a gaming keyboard just to know that I got a keyboard straight off my birthday lol

usually compressed air works, but if you can detach the keycaps then a more in-depth solution like these work, you can clean the keys in some mixture of cleaning alcohol and water i forgot, but more or less it'll probably just be some compressed air fun.
Fr like i get its asmr but use vacuum cleaner next time or something before going in with soap water

This keyboard has been through the 5 stages of grief, the Vietnam war, the revolutionary war, been thrown into the dump a couple of times and then was not touched for 5 or more years

As an IT Manager that has seen hundreds of filthy keyboards in my time, I'll never understand why this particular model of HP keyboard is BY FAR the most filthy without fail...

I like how the comments saying there's a better way to do this aren't taking to account that the way they are doing it is for the sound cause it's ASMR
i get what u are trying to say, but cleaning it a more effective way would result better sounds imo. using a puller instead of popping the keys off, a bigger brush to agitate the grime, rubbing alchohol instead of soapy water on the keyboard. it felt more sloppy this way vs cleaning it in ways that make sense

Oh come on, don't be so dramatic. You won't get a fatal virus from some pet hair and chips leftovers. Cleaning with a vacuum cleaner and then go trough with a wet sponge/cloth would have been much easier, and this my pal, don't require gloves

The way he's happily flipping the keycaps around is making me tense rather than relaxed, and I'm only at the beginning of the vid. I've read some of the comments and just have to watch for a laugh.
Oh yeah. Wtf why is he cleaning the keyboard like this?? He put them all into a tub together too, which was extremely annoying since I feel like he didn't clean them one by one in the most efficient way. I'm not professional, but still could do better LMAOOO
I think he cleaned it by the low-cost method, but I find it more relaxing this way. He still did a decent job tho... but I don't know if that keyboard will function after it being all soaked

back when i was a teen I bought this cool gaming keyboard that had amazing sound. let my family use it, they didn't like it nearly as much as i did and it ended up getting stuck in a cabinet. I pulled it back out a few weeks ago to see if i could still use it. It was terrible. There was sticky jelly or something underneath the keys, there was dog hair wrapped around everything, and snack crumbs just pilled in it. Tried cleaning it but the pain was real. Just gave up and threw it away. I couldn't look at it anymore.

You could clean this type of keyboard perfectly, micromanage every single key and nodule piece by piece. But as soon as you leave it out for one day, it’ll collect dust and somehow have specks all over it again
