Great interview. I love what he said about seeing the strength and speed deficiencies the team showed last year at the O Line. I would have thought, for someone who has spent so much time at the lower levels of college football, it would take some adjustment to recognize that gap in strength and speed. This guy is probably the most important coach on the staff, and it looks like he’s got what we need. Looking forward to seeing the results on Saturdays.
Excited to see Coach O'boyle, Coach Flea, and Coach Brewster coordinate the run game under Coach Lewis. All of the previous relationships meshing together. Every man coach Prime has brought in knows exactly the type of players they are looking to coach. They all have such depth of knowledge, and have coached on multiple levels.
Played for coach O’Boyle at Chadron State back in the mid 90s. Great coach, tells it like it is, and makes you a better player and person. Congrats coach, glad to see you made it up the ladder.
He reminds me of my college O-line coach Dave Stromswold at Boise State. He didn't give a damn about the media, He didn't say a lot but he sure did have our attention!
Im so happy we are finally getting to hear from the coaches, I really enjoyed this interview. This is a very good, tough an all in guy. You'll be blessed to work with him. I feel his passion and determination. He is a keeper.
Coach Bill O'Boyle reminds me of one of my high school coaches whose name is John Altizer. Coach Altizer was my Linebackers coach and Offensive Line coach, he is West Virginia born and all about being an athlete 👏👏👏 (moving in space, agile).
The 100 - 150 practice reps are real! It makes the whole team better athletes. That's what just happened in this Superbowl 2023 in Arizona, scoring and tempo. I personally had the experience of the difference it made in my high school (Port Saint Lucie High School) in Fall 2003 going from previous veer, spread, and offset I formation offenses to the run and shoot/fun and gun offense.
O'Boyle built a dynasty at Chadron. Sure you can say it was only D2, but his dominance was infallible. Pretty sure they could have competed against a fair amount of D1 teams.
Happy that Coach O'Boyle is being recognized for his knowledge and talent!
He was acknowledged that is why he is here🤔🤔🤔
That's the most I've heard from Coach so far. LOL! SKO BUFFS! 🦬🏈
I like when a person who is direct and straight to the point. No fluff with him.
All of the Coaches are direct and straight to the point😳
exactly how you want a coach to be. no nonsense. direct and stern. either you listen or you're gone.

He is very impressive. He knows what he is looking for and will be motivating that line under Coach Lewis's scheme.

❤
O-line is the most important position on the field.
I appreciate his honesty about the OL in terms of what he inherited. It is proof that the old coaching staff was not preparing these guys.

Have to appreciate the honesty here. He knows he didn’t inherit much and it may take some time

Congrats Coach on landing on Coach Prime's staff. I remember when ya coached Chadron State when Danny Woodhead played.
Sounds like another great coach
Amen to the "old school" football approach:
"God

Grades
and Football". - Dave Catron, one of my first high school football head coaches
