    Nice laptop, but seems you are quite risking device when replacing anything when device is with connected battery. Simple screw which drop from your hands on motherboard can electro shock device. Everytime unplug battery

    First of all - you should unplug the battery!

      I'm having a blast so far! I'd recommend it lol. Apart from dealing with the configuration, that's the part that can get annoying.

    hey Verrillo nice Laptop. Couple of questions for ya. First I'm about to subscribe to Sierra. Are you a affiliate? 2) what broker would you suggest? My last question is because of my work schedule I will only be able to trade from say 6:30am and 8:30am. Do you think one could be profitable trading pre-market as such. Thanks for all you've done for the trading community.

      Thanks for the comment! 1. No I'm not affiliate but I do produce some videos for them. There is a material connection. 2. Whichever one serves you the best. I use Ironbeam for trading futures, never had a problem. I use it with the SC Teton order routing, used to use CQG. 3. I think it really depends on the kind of system you are using. For me it's 95% preparation work outside of trading hours and 5% of the work placing the actual trades, no joke. For me it's all about the work in preparation for the trades to set up. So even if you did just trade that 2 hour timeframe, I think a lot more time needs to go into it after hours.

    Its a Multimedia Laptop and not a workstation ... There are differences

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  Год назад

      Could you explain this technical definition? To me it's a laptop used for work so that's why I call it that.

      @ebayklein5325 This is a mobile workstation computer. You probably do not know the difference, between various computer categories.

      It's not a workstation something like the Dell Precision 7670, HP ZBook Fury 16 G9 would be one. Workstations use different RAM like JEDEC so the RAM does not overclock and stays at its basic configuration and they use also graphic-cards like Quadros, RTX A2000. The Asus ProArt Studiobook on the other hand has a consumer graphics card.@@CryptoDefender

    It's 2023. Windows has WSL. You can run Linux inside windows itself.

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  Год назад

      I use that to mount the Linux drive in Windows if I ever need to get files from the Linux drive while booted into Windows. Though on Linux this is much easier to set up as it supports both filesystems flawlessly.

    What better guy to ask if not you, is there any platform (for futures only) that allows you to move take profit or the stop loss up or down a tick with a hotkey? once you are in a trade

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  Год назад

      Yes I'm sure a lot of platforms have this. Sierra Chart has this, I think even TWS has that.

    why does a trader need debian 12 on his laptop? (im a programmer) also why you need so fast nvme ssds

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  Год назад +1

      Haha, for me it’s why would a trader/coder use Windows? Linux rocks I am super impressed with it this year. Debian does not fully support the new machine hardware but it should come down the line. It’s more for dev workflow and custom creative stuff. I use the Windows 11 drive for video editing since the hardware is fully supported. The customization is just awesome in Debian with KDE desktop.
