I love my Ursa Mini Pro and with the new Black Magic Raw feature, it got even better!
Awesome camera! I love my GH5. On the shoulder I can also shoot like this. Im not really a fan of my hands so high while shooting myself.
hearing a lot about a strange uneven magenta cast on this ursa....is there an ok fix in post or is this a crazy problem? In 2023?

I bought this camera 10 months ago and i dont regret it a single bit.... Great image performance, codec choices, compression choices, software upgrades, great tech support, and 1/3 of the price of what it should cost. lovely 100% recomended.
I love the idea of the ursa but has the red raven been considered for this setup? Not sure if it was out at the time of this video but I feel like for it’s weight and now ability to have an nd adapter I feel like it could work well in the same situation

Lovely camera, sure. But I don't think 'Indie' means the same thing outside of the US.
GH4/5/5s, Canon 5D3, Sony A7s, those are 'Indie' budget items here in the same city where BMD is headquartered, as are secondhand BMD Cine Cam's, 4K Production Cameras and Pocket Cine Cameras.
The new 4K Pocket Cam may fall in to the right price bracket for Indie, but none of the Ursa's do.
I use 3 cameras..my phone, a decent gopro knock off (SooCoo) and a Cannon T3i with vintage lenses. All those cameras together along with the lenses still would only be a quarter of what that "low end" rig costs.

If so, that is the 'perfect' Beginner and Indie film making DSLR, once Magic Lantern is loaded.
Fit some Pentax fast primes and it's a damn good piece of kit to learn with. Colours aren't as nice as Pentax, but the data rate is much better.
Its either a 550d or the 600D cant remember. I need to pick up a prime but I do have 2 smc Takumars, a Focal (yes a k mart lens that is fantastic), Vivatar and a Helios (zenit) m42 screw mount lenses. All these vintage lenses are amazing but I need a good wide angle prime and those are really expensive! I also need to up date to magic lantern. I have had the T3i camera for a long time and I love it! It is a great indie rig. Easy to pack and carry with lots of options that wont break the bank.
That's a no budget film. An indie has a budget and could very well afford an UMP.

Hey can you teach me not to walk through the set while actors are performing and cameras are rolling? My problem is that I don't know how to work with actors.
Do you have any idear how fucken distracting that is??
