What a lovely chat. Just what a good chat is all about. Memories, plans, current issues. People, food, hobbies, points of view. I stayed to the end. Cheers to you. 🇦🇺
I got a chuckle with your bulb sorting. A few years ago everytume I would go to the garden shop I would pass by the spring selection of dahlia tubers. Well low and behold I had picked the same tuber 6 different times! Now I take a picture when I buy new plants. Haha careful with your back and don't slip on your arse😊
Hi Sean, You shouldn’t overestimate just how much land you need to feed yourself, the wartime advice was that a 10rod plot ‘properly’ managed would feed a family of four over the year and that before the ‘extension’ Charles’ plot was only 1/3 an acre, and that was enough for a successful commercial enterprise ! Charles also has quite a bit of help on his plot both paid and volunteers, and they tend to be mostly fit young individuals! I have about half of a 10rod , no dig, at the bottom of my garden and that’s plenty of room to feed two of us, include the greenhouse and a trug for salad leaves ,(still cropping rocket, endive and lolly Rossa), and that seems to be enough for us. Still learning of course and getting to grips with successional sowing for continuous cropping, but getting there. Good luck with your search Sean and please make sure there’s room for a greenhouse and shed so you can still have your ‘chats’ with us 😊 All the best, R.
One floor is best for those of us getting up there in years.. Bought my house a few years ago now and it is a single story which works out fine. I walked up some stairs the other day and forgot how much my knees were happy I don't have to do that at home!
The weather at the moment in South Wales is very wet with the odd appearance of sun. Because I have been - and forgive the pun - under the weather, I have done very little in the way of digging. The ground is now sodden, which is frustrating.
I stayed till the end 🖐🏻 Wow that rain was heavy! … but it sounds very relaxing on the shed roof. I like the chatty long format videos … they’re calming to watch ✨
Just a bit of a caution, we have an ex Charles Dowding pupil who has set up a CSA no dig market garden in a field right on our boundary (which tbh we could have done without!). This will be her third season and she is struggling and unable to make it pay from the sale of vegetables alone.
I have lots of small daffodils, Tête-à-tête too I believe, lots of jonquils and muscari(?) the little blue flowers … not sure if the spelling, being the middle of winter they are just starting to bloom here in Tasmania, I always watch your videos to the end, I find them informative and interesting, thanks Sean
Hello Sean When you move to wales I would like to help you out with compost … I can access over 50 tons of green waste compost … get you off to a good start.
I was there until the end Sean. Thank you very much for the chat 👌🏻✨️ Sometimes it's all you need to cheer you! I hope your trip home wasn't too bad or wet and that you did stop at the café and get warm and have your potato. I think that cafés should serve sweet potatoes. They are delicious 🤝🏻
Land is ridiculously expensive isn't it. I guess you can get a mortgage if you can prove you have a income, self employed or not (I heard 6 months after you start being self-employed but that is only something I heard). Glad you are feeling better.
I wish I had pursued market gardening as a career, when I was young and fit enough. I hope your dream becomes reality and I can live vicariously through you.Its been so wet in West Midlands that my plot has had little attention for a month.Hope your trip to Wales goes well.
Are you sure you have enough bulbs Sean. 🤣 I thought I had a lot but you have surpassed me. Enjoy your chit chat videos, so please keep them going. I keep telling you the answer to your maths questions but you keep ignoring me. 🤣🤣🤣
Hi sean how you doing fo you have a girlfriend or partner who can go halves with you on the land you want to buy or rent?. You have alot of experience growing vegies. Would you think about someone cming on to help you with your projects?.

If you want to 'farm' (or garden) on a mountain: Sepp Holzer did it in Austria, very good example!
Really enjoyed the whole video, I love the fact that your going to share the bulbs its a reallynice gesturexx

Same in London for the past month.
Wales has wet winters as a rule these days the winters you remember 30 years are few and far between these days not quaranteed snow even these days
Very nice video. Enjoyed the chat and pleased with the way you are planning to plant the bulbs. Good luck achieving your goals. Mary from Texas

Always watch when I’m cooking! Not boring at all!
I’m here until the end, I really enjoy your rambles
Could you put that tin sheet on the shed roof?
Not wide enough, I would need three of them.
Full moon means the tides are higher, hence, more deeper water, more fish, thats the theory anyway,
Certainly an interesting subject.
I like these chit chat videos , I watch while I am doing dishes etc. I do watch until the end. Keep going.
You should do those talk shows you are a natural
❤😊🌞 from Australia
Here till the end. At least your tulips are sorted on this rainy day
Hello Sean
When you move to wales I would like to help you out with compost … I can access over 50 tons of green waste compost … get you off to a good start.
That would be great. Thank you. Am going down in a few weeks and very much looking forward to it.
I really enjoy the chatty videos and always watch until the end 👍🏻
Very much here till the end. I also find your videos very relaxing ❤
Hi Sean, don't over do it. It looks great, pity about your leaky shed!
I’ve been gone for a while so I’m out of the loop. Are you moving back to Wales?
You need this ruclips.net/video/zGAZELjepXs/видео.html
I was there until the end Sean.
Thank you very much for the chat 👌🏻✨️

Enjoyed the chit-chat Sean. Hope you bought the bulbs in Gracy's 50% off sale!
Still here to the end. Thanks for the chuckles. Good luck from Newfoundland Canada
37 minutes in and I’m still watching 😂
No not wasted.
You make me smile😂.
You might need a hand to put all those bulbs in.
I did mine in September .
I wish I had pursued market gardening as a career, when I was young and fit enough. I hope your dream becomes reality and I can live vicariously through you.Its been so wet in West Midlands that my plot has had little attention for a month.Hope your trip to Wales goes well.
Hi Sean. I was just going to say there that you are looking well but I don’t want to worry you! ☘️
I have watched three times, just in case I missed a bit!
Sean I always watch your videos to the end although I don't always comment I especially like the long videos
I’m usually here to the end. If not I’ll come back and watch the rest later.
Are you sure you have enough bulbs Sean. 🤣 I thought I had a lot but you have surpassed me. Enjoy your chit chat videos, so please keep them going. I keep telling you the answer to your maths questions but you keep ignoring me. 🤣🤣🤣
I’m planting Ice Cream Tulips and Wyndham Tulips
I always watch the whole thing. Even though the frequency of the ads is going through the roof.
RUclips changed their ads policy in October and even though they are annoying since. But without the ads I wouldn't be able to carry on.
,@@seanjamescameron do you actually get money from those ads then ?
@jimstormcrow RUclips put the ads in so I have no control over that but yes I do get a percentage of the ads, that’s how I managed to live.
@@seanjamescameron I'll not skip them then. I thought that those were just RUclips profiteering off of your work.
@jimstormcrow Thank you. Anything longer than 60 seconds then just skip because some of them are very long!
For a cheap house and a lot of land you carnt beat moving to Bulgaria.
Just take a look at prices
That’s my plan in a couple of years.
Hi sean how you doing fo you have a girlfriend or partner who can go halves with you on the land you want to buy or rent?. You have alot of experience growing vegies. Would you think about someone cming on to help you with your projects?.
I've had bad experiences when taking on business partners so would rather take longer to get to the goal thank do that.
