Mosquitoes have been relentless in my backyard since last week due to the big rain spells. I can't enjoy viewing my garden without those mini-vampires swarming me anymore. And speaking of big rain, one of my buckets got 4 inches from Monday's storm; our houseplants will love that.

I wish weather balloons were still relied on. Between my bones and knowing where a front, temperature , humidity, barometer readings are , it helps folks like him tell it like it is rather than a guess. I myself have to rely on NOAA, my arthritis , animals and predict as Im running my ranch when not in the office or abroad. Thank you for your more than adequate science prediction. Well explained!!

Yeah, early Hurricane season threat is beginning to loom. We need a giant hydraulic lift on the northwest side of the state; accelerate the drainage just a little bit. TILT!!!
My kids run to watch with me if I watch his weather updates, but my husband leaves the room for the same reason you mention. He doesn’t like the “baby” talk.
@GrnThmb-pw3sk I can definitely see where kids would be drawn to it and I think that's wonderful. Perhaps that's something he should even consider further pursuing...Kids meteorological education! Just tone it down for the adults, lol. I HATE being critical...as a matter of fact, I've never commented on something like this before. I truly appreciate his information and hope I haven't offended anyone too much...🥴
@@ABinTX agreed, don’t like being critical. My oldest child an myself have a lot of storm anxiety and between David Reimer’s forecasts and Ryan Halls educating, it’s lessened a lot so I find their videos very valuable to us

I'm a 4th generation native Texan who grew up in Central Texas and in that area of Texas it is pronounced "pay- cos" with a long "o" as in "open".
