Life is a journey of circles, Elle. Sometimes you're earning 6 figures, and sometimes you barely make it each month. Sometimes you'ren the cock of the walk, the next day a feather duster (quote from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome) your value as a human being doesn't stem from your position at work or the number of zeroes on your paycheck. You are a valuable human being because of how you interact with others and make a difference on this planet. Making a difference isn't furthering the interests of a corportation, it's helping a person through depression, or helping someone wake up from a high control group. It's when someone watches one of your video amd cries because they see themselves in you. Human value is not in material things or money. When you have a channel that you started just a month or two ago and someone leaves a comment that you helped them or inspired them, it is then that you learn your value. You are a beautiful person because of your fragility, yet at the same time resilient strength in the wake of great adversity. No money could have given you that. THAT is already inside you!
🦋💜♒️🤗🫶🏼🌟 So sorry about the situation with your twins Seastar Elle🤟🏼 ptsd from organization got me diagnosed manic depression. Thank goodness I was grateful to finally find the perfect match therapist for help addressing the cause instead of meds. That’s what FMLA is for, your protection. Bravo for taking care of yourself and your children’s mother! Proud of you! Ohana
This is so awesome! I remember you talking about planning to do this when me and Jeron came over. Glad you went through with it and put your happiness first! As JW's we were trained to have a mindset of waiting to be happy. As EXJW's we can claim our happiness NOW! This is the way.
Thank you for your support!! Our health is EVERYTHING. Physical and mental, I want to go on and live out the rest of my days in 💯 health ❤️ Thank you for understanding Justin!
Only a small percentage of people can manage a 12 hr midnight shift and if you’re stressed about getting home safely after leaving your job, you need to find something that is daytime only. Not only for you and your family, but for all the other drivers on the road. I’m pretty confident you’ll find your way through this and never doubt your decision ✨
Yes self care is the utmost priority. I know you said you’re soaking up vitamin D. If you aren’t already taking a Vit D supplement I HIGHLY suggest it. That’s the ONE vitamin I will never stop taking. ♥️♥️ It’s made all the difference in my health especially during the winter months and high stress times.
Sadly no ptsd but since 15 depression and anxiety.. Spouse of 40 years same- sadly daughter at 28 has depression anxiety appears to be a trait. Seasonal over the years. Was traumatized at my job at 44 by a doctor I worked with and the boss I had at the time. It’s taken me until 60 to understand myself. I wish i had looked and searched harder for help in my 20’s, but my HMO doctors in 1980’s would not refer me to mental health and told me “you need to find way to relax”. Mental health issues were shamed back then. Many years of intermittent misery. I’m retired and rediscovering myself. Take care yourself Ms Elle. Ultimately you are your biggest support and advocate.
If your doctor doesn’t say you need to only be on day shifts they are a QUACK! I don’t mean to be ageist, but I’m a clinician myself and younger physicians are generally better-versed with newer research. Working night shifts wreaks havoc on your body (hormones, circadian rhythm), and increases risk of morbidity and mortality. If you have a good doctor, I would not even worry about what they will say! And worth going to a second doctor or even third if you need to (but I really don’t think you will).
Oh wow!! 😮 Thank you so much for writing me this. It sure does help me feel better. I don’t want to quit my job. I just want to quit night shifts. I’m post menopausal so that messes with my body too. 🤷🏻♀️ I appreciate you giving me your clinical perspectives!
@@ElleRenoCoaching yes of course! It really does just sound like corporate HR mumbo jumbo and not like they are trying to cheat you out of going to day shifts somehow. It protects them and you for that opportunity being created for you and not for someone else if that makes sense?
That last sentence had horrible grammar 😂 what I meant to say was, in the scenario that another coworker came to HR saying that you were specially treated or something…. You and the company will be protected by the doctor’s order.
I think it might be the perk of working for a big corporation. I think they are concerned with retention because of the time invested in me. It’s a specialized job that isn’t so easy to train.
Just read that you’re post menopause - all these changes bring a lot of these negative feelings on. i know a lot about it being 63 and out the end of a very long 8 years! Your body doesn’t lie. If it doesn’t feel right any more then it’s not sustainable. You’re not a machine ❤ xxx

@ Yes. I feel that way too. I don’t think they want to lose me. 🤷🏻♀️
@ haha! Yup. I heard you. That’s exactly right.
Great video ❤

You are greatful you have a boss that listened to you about your night shift issues. Most bosses and (even mine at that time) are not concerned.
