It's nice to see that they hopefully fixed the AChun, SYang and Gen issues. Now they just need to fix Juri (none of the effects of her Feng Shui Engine actually work), make it so that Vigilante actually applies the stats given, and fix the dozen other bugs we keep mentioning.
Gouken is really fun. Managed to find one to recruit in Shadaloo City today, and had one of the easiest runs I've ever had. He's definitely gonna be my next SST summon once I finish ERyu (although I'm currently stockpiling tickets to see what's coming in the future). My only complaint about Gouken is that the Void effect can stack up to 10 times, but the only way he can gain any stacks is the one he generates the first time he would die. Wish either his FS or his cars gave a way to generate more.
The Ken boss fight is not fun. He applies a burn to the last member of your main party that ticks every seconds. Puts you on a heavy timer for dealing with him thanks to this.
Pulled him in 12 draws. You should go to bed early and wake up early. Waiting for your videos in the morning on new events is to much anticipation. We need your videos in the first three hours 😂
I’m pulling for a single copy of gouken just so I don’t get hosed in future Trials when he’s a required character 😅.

As usual great breakdown, I think it would be more beneficial to those who haven't already looked the new characters kit for you to review the cars last since they are tangential to the kit. So without knowing what part of the characters kit the cars are effecting knowing how much the cars effect that part of the kit isn't very useful.
haha few suggested I start with cars so I switched it up to that.
Gouken or Viper/ Guile Super, Elena/Rose/Achun C1, then either Gouken/viper C2, then either Viper/Guile C3 with Eryu's Triggers.
Im pretty sure this will be a canon event for sustainable dmg and tankiness lmao
Basically can use gouken, eryu, another dps unit, and healer and still do all that damage and now not worry bout dying lmao.
Idk Payne lemme know if you max him and do test this build for me plz lmao. I wanna know how well goukens trigger works alongside eryus trigger lmao
Not in the patch notes, but they fixed eryu triggering shun goku satsu when his trigger c3 results in a kill

@@PayneBlade unfortunately now it seems like they broke eryu's trigger c1 no longer drains enemies combo gauge

Before anyone else runs into the issue, the game will crash every time if you fight Gouken on floor 3 in the Shadaloo city event. Fight anyone but Gouken and you'll be able to finish floor 3.
and what if I'm already on gouken, I didn't know about the problem

Fortunately it's been picked up on and fixed, with 600 gems as compensation.

The issue with the new summoned fighters getting better and better is that its tricky to know what to spend the summon tokens on as a F2P player. I'd started collecting for E.Ryu (Currently S Rank), as he seemed a great addition with all his EX combos just going off on top of your combo chain etc, so was planning on using all the summon tokens saved during the pre-Gouken event on E.Ryu, (maybe doing enough to at least get a base level Gouken) but suddenly I'm left wondering if I should focus on Gouken... xD
Haha that's the problem with all gacha as f2p u gotta really be picky. Gouken is survival, e Ryu is buff and dmg immunity ignore and trigger unit and akuma is dmg
@@PayneBlade This be true. I decided to just cash in on E.Ryu. I didn't have Gouken yet, Akuma was still just at purple, so given the rarity of the tickets and drops when summoning, it made more sense to just continue with the character I had at S Rank. I think its a shame, that when Akuma came out, people suggested he wasn't very good, as I think I'd preferred to go with Akuma, just because he was always on my list of played characters on the main series games xD (Also why I've been focusing on Bison and Juri!)
They finally fixed vigilante but it's no where to be found in patch note

As a pretty new FtP player with 1 copy of Akuma. Should i focus on more Akumas now or is switching to Gouken more important?
Hang onto your tickets for now, you won't have enough tickets as F2P to SSS (or even SS) them anytime soon, and both Akuma and Gouken are SF characters so they're always available for rolling. By the time you have enough tickets to finish either of them, there might be better characters available.
Save them for the collab units cause these guys will be here forever
Thanks for the advice. Another question, I got two copies of Vergil. Have the Collab units ever been brought back would like to get him ranked up.
