I don't even have any RC stuff but I love these videos because it's like watching a kid having a ton of fun doing what he loves. As a grown adult it's awesome to see someone making a living while having a blast. Please don't stop.
Just gotta say hat's off to the machining of these parts....the amount of programming into the CNC that made them is off the charts never mind the actual machining.....

You don't write much code at all once you finish school. Most coding is done by cad/cam software. If they had to write the program they would not get much work done at all.

Kev, I’m guessing you know this but you can push a screw driver or punch into the male metal of the EC5 connector to spread it and make the connection tighter. Cheers🎉

That has to be one of the best skate parks yet . My favourite place was the pit where you went with mick craddock. If you could rig up a drivers stand there that would make a great rc course there. Could do with an old open top bus to stand on .

My kraton 6s v2 has been shelved for well over a year because of those brittle bulkheads!! I've been waiting and waiting for an alternative I would feel ok spending the small fortune to obtain.

I went to basher queens website and will be doing the price list for all those other shiny bits I saw as well as the bulkheads.
About to spend close to, if not more on the truck than it's shelf price..
But damn if it ain't fun seeing it go 55mph+ at our local spot!!

I've got an idea for the greatest rc car ever.
1. Buy the biggest rc car V8 block you can find
2. Make the chassis and suspension parts out of steel to handle all that power
3. Buy 8 chainsaw pistons
4. Put them in the engine block and make it a DOHC
5. Buy a 78 Corvette body
6. Put big ol drag slicks in the back
7. Install a wheelie bar
Then there you go an rc car that can go at least 100mph
I find that if you take the upper washers and the lower red collar off of the arms behind the pivot balls that the dogbones don't pop out anymore on hard hits. Seems to be an issue with V5 arms
something im often curious about is the weight of stock vs upgraded car, ive seen you weigh some parts and they seem to be about double the weight, how much difference in a car with everything upgraded(including the extra bearings you leave out) and whats the difference in performance not just speed. love the videos cant wait to see what you destroy next.

I prefer my Notorious over my Kraton and other bashers I've seen.
Yea I agree, kraton is to stiff and it’s much harder to do backflips.

I got an idea. If you build an RC car from nothing like build your own chassis give it custom elecronics and keep it as simple as possible and when its done take it to the skatepark and see how long it lives.

Sold it. Even with Upgrades not durable. As it was as new huge fun with standing backflips etc. But for this car you need to love repairs.... Now with Traxxas Erevo for more than pone year. First body, some minor repairs and epic jumps.Erevo is just a better construction. Traxxas TRX4m for my son and we are happy. Great videos Kev . I love to watch them! Next one will be Summit 1/16 and after selling the erevo will get summit 1/10 too

for a front flip you actually have to brake, but then accelerate in reverse and then you're doing the best frontflip

Wheelbase is too short to get any power down. It would still be a monster in the air with a slightly longer one, but it would be travelling significantly faster

I put a piece of electric tape around it when it’s plugged in to esc it keeps your batteries from coming unplugged mine came unplugged all the the time until I started putting a little tape on it.😊 it works
