It is true, sometimes, living in it, we take it for granted that we live in a place full of surprises, but it is good that someone refreshes our memory every now and then. I’m really excited I’m going to Rome at the very end of September! I am trying to pick the tours and different stuff I want to do. It looks like the colosseum, Roman forum, and palatine hill is grouped together and the Vatican museums, Sistine chapel, and St. Peter’s basilica is grouped together. I’m your option is it worth it to do the tours? Or is it something we can do on our own? Should we do both or one better than the other? I’m kinda of leaning towards doing the Vatican tour if we only pick one but I have no idea 😩 help please lol

Piazza Navona underground hosts concerts during the warmer months. And yes, Babingtons is the greatest if you like all things with that British flavour. Also consider Villa Medici, palazzo Farnese, il gianicolo, cappuccini Church on via Veneto (but only if you don't mind skulls), Necropolis, TIVOLI, Cinecitta, Eur and its square colosseo. My personal favourite is wondering about the Jewish ghetto and reading the stumbling stones - a surreal experience.

One idea you might want to think about is doing things in different zones like the area around the Spanish steps or around the train station or around the Vatican instead of just skipping all over town it just kind of helps you get an idea where it is and what’s close in that area but I like the way you’re doing it it’s very fun and exciting

It depends what you are looking to do there because most of the things will be closed but it would be nice to walk around and discover the islands.
