WDP4D is my most and best favourite diesel locomotive of India and it's the diesel king of Indian railways and in fact I am a great fan of EMD locomotives. WDP4D is the fastest diesel train engine of India. I'm really happy to see an EMD locomotive in Chennai after so long. I wish that the EMD locomotives from the diesel loco sheds like Ponmalai GOC shed, Ernakulam, Krishnarajapuram and Hubbali are involved in train shunting duties in both Chennai Central and Ezhumbur.
Usually if any maintenance occurs during the train’s time slot, END 2 END diesel traction will be provided. Few months back same situation occurred to Cholan express and it was given END 2 END diesel link!
