I’ve gone back and watched this series dozens of times since its original upload. Can never get enough of it and am always curious of its current state. Always OEM+, the AHC Way
Absolutely love your guys content and quality. Just bought a TSX around the same time you guys picked this Euro R up, going to try to keep up with you guys on fixes/modifications. Look forward to more videos on this Euro R. Keep up the great work gentlemen 👍
From New Zealand: I rate the Cusco street zero A red coilover kit for CL7 Accord Euro R, been running it several years. Damper has good bound/rebound damping control across the adjustment range and enough power for track wound up towards hard. Mine's the 14/8kg spring kit (which I've now fit 12/7kg swift springs) 20 clicks is the ideal setting for road and 2-4 clicks great setting on track. My old Tein Flex Z in comparison didn't have great bound/rebound when backed off (floaty) and lacked enough damping power for track when going hard. I also had a very old 10/5kg BR BC Gold set in my current CL7 when I first bought it. Great on track yes but not as nice damping quality backed off for road setting. If anyone has a CL7 and is thinking of fitting these coilovers they are really good and worth the extra.
@@dynaway Hi Dynaway. Unlike the BC Golds and Teins I've had before the Cusco's do have some sort of bracket. Unused on my car, it's quite low down. I would need to double check that it isn't just a brake line attachment hole or something but what you are referring too. My car is facelift but the autolevelling was disabled by the previous owner. In a stiff car with good damping I've never felt much need for auto levelling.
How? US import laws only allow 25 year old vehicles, these CL7 Euro R's arent that old yet. i just bought one last month In Japan, waiting for it to ship to BC and then i'll sell my EP3 Civic Type R
who is this Euro R belong to lol? side note the Modulo is the JDM/EDM A-Spec they have suspension and lip kit which same as USDM factory A-spec. I have a KB1 RL and we never have to worry about having hard time finding Aspec lip as they are available all around the world. As other part of the world its know as Honda Legend :)
The USDM Aspec (option accessory) suspension does not have any adjustment on the dampening. KB1 RL is such a cool car. You just gave us an idea to possibly build one in the future.
@@ahcgarage I owned several Acura/Honda product starting from a 2nd gen Legend in LS trim and MT gear box to now the 3G TL and KB1 RL. I do believe Acura modern prime era was the 2001 - 2008 as there are many cars within lip up appeal to various consumer such as 1st/2nd gen MDX, CL Type S, UA5 Type S, TSX, 3rd gen TL, 1st gen turbo RDX (some said it served as a test bed for CTR) and RSX Type S. However the current line up is a jokes and many works at my local dealer agreed with my assessment. The new RDX and MDX is the only 2 model that keep Acura at float now these days and even the build quality on those isn't what it used to be. Lets talk about KB1 RL aka Honda Legend for the rest of the world, the car was packed with tons of advance technologies and many to be the first to offered on any Honda vehicle. 1. ACE body structuring 2. SH-AWD was way advanced for its time and yet now are the standard for most modern sport car under the name "active rear diff". I would say this is equivalent of re-inventing VTEC. 3. Unique feature within SH-AWD that are not available on any other Acura. 4. KB1 is a proof that Honda can make luxury sedan and hang with big boys from Germany. 5. 1st Honda sedan that use aluminium suspension components and other body panel. Here in the US the RL was a failure do to the popular and less expensive TL, many Acura owner will believe that the TL is Acura flagship sedan and only a few that knew about the existence of the RL. The RL can be found in the used market for cheap tho, let me know if you guy are doing a RL project.
Modulo pronunciation, "Modeulo", they are the opposition company to Spoon their main rival. Funny most honda people don't know that. Their cars and products are shown alot in the the Best Motoring videos from Japan for JDM K series Type R's hondas and other honda models.

Thanks for the continued support. We should have more contents on this CL7 soon.
Such a beautiful car and another magnificent piece of Japanese engineering by the masters at Honda.
Miguel & Jonathon make me proud to be a Honda employee myself. Your attention to detail is simply amazing!

Wow I had no clue it had adjustable dampers on the stock suspension!
@@BeforeTheStorm Yes, that's super cool
Wish we get Type R here in USA
👍🏻 awesome vid never knew about those modulo struts
First for us too. Very cool.
Great short video, lots of information, just don't get why not go with ohlins instead? Which is more commonly used in JDM cars
Ohlins spring rate is a bit high. This is a daily driver so we wanted something a bit softer.
Awesome video thanks 😄
Thanks for watching
JDM and JDM fking lovely.
👍🏼👍🏼
can you provide the manufacturer numbers for the modulo kit? or maybe you have for sale this dismantled set?
Love the clip
Thank you
Are these legal for import into the USA now?
Man I want that mugen wing for my Euro R so badly
Love that Mugen wing
What is the tire size for those rims?
215/50/17
From where did you buyed that mugen spoiler?
Check out www.Kingmotorsports.com
You’ll have to source it second hand, I don’t think mugen makes it new anymore
Finally the US are starting to import the CL7 euro R. Hopefully soon they will buy it all up from Japan.
Yes!!
