Check my death note remix I think it’s underrated
damn 3:23 when they avoided the private luxury car and instead chose the transport bus.... It reminded me of my parents.. when they came to visit me.. I booked a private cab for them at the airport and told them that the driver will pick them up as i was busy with work schedule. And instead of coming by the cab they choose the public bus to travel around the city.
Later on When i ask why they did it.. my dad simply said, " we were just looking around and enjoy, since our son was busy with work."

Ed (guessing he’s the primary writer) perceives himself and his gf as ordinary people who have been transplanted into a world they aren’t used to, in LA where everyone is trying to get ahead and the main values are beauty and wealth. They continue to live ordinary lives unaffected by the (to them) crazy and unfamiliar world around them, and given the choice would return to that ordinary world with themselves and their love unchanged. It’s a very sweet and heartfelt message.
