Coincidentally, I was in Tokyo with my family a couple of months ago and we stayed at a hotel in Meguro. We walked through the AWS building everyday to get to the subway. This brings back nice memories of our trip. It's so cool to actually see what the AWS office is like inside. Thanks for the video!
Felt the same way! The Japanese accent influence is strong. She sounds like she has a mix of American, Singaporean and Japanese accents varying from word to word.
i enjoy this video. An insight of Amazon Japan the diversity and inclusive culture of the company. It’s a workplace that every employee loves to work in. ❤😊
Love this video - 😂😂😂 Singapore + Japan..seamlessly blended. If I were younger in my mid twenties, I'd up and go! Thank you for doing this interview! Oh gosh...the Singlish..steady leh, jin sui !! singapore lang 😊🥰
Awesome video, Ghib! So glad we could help bring the tech communities from Singapore and Japan together. Here’s to even more meaningful connections and collaborations across borders!
it is thrilled to know they have a free office for startUp with facilities. I think the requirements will be very high as the resources are limited. anyway, it is a very nice concept for future office.
Hi Ghib,, wow what a nice place to work AWS 😅,,, Missing Japan more n more,, its been a year since i go back for the Eijyuken ,, i hope i can go to japan next year for pleasure, Huat Ah Ghib,, 😅 👍🇯🇵❤️
Agreed. I was a contract staff with the world no.1 Medtech co. literally only need to work four days and the pantry is perpetually full of snacks that staff help themselves with throughout the day. Different kinds of fruits are placed on the Island table every morning...but I had one of the most insecure and micro-manager ever. Quit in 3 months. It's not what's on the outside that counts. I've also worked with ex-Googler who said that ''after a while, all the perks don't matter''. Go figure😅
Very interesting! Amazon ofcourse is a very multicultural company but I wonder: can you work at Amazon Tokyo when you initially don’t speak Japanese? 😊
Great analysis, thank you! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Amazon has just asked all employees to RTO 5 days a week..no more work from home. Japan is a good place to visit and leisure, never a good place to work in.
The Singlish is strong in Shou-san 😂
Feels like Shou-san is one of us, family member of Singapore. ❤
Is not something to be proud of
There is no return for shou San in English anymore😂😂😂😂
her switching between language is seamless
Nice to see so many Singaporeans working in Japan! Very interesting to hear their stories 👍🏻👍🏻
What an awesome tour and interviews! Wish I could give a thousand Likes. As they say, the employees' reflect the company.

Gambatte Ghib san! U r getting more and more famous now! 💪🔥
The Singaporean (Sandra) swapped accents with the Japanese (Sho). 😂
Her accent is 完璧.
Even when she was speaking in English, she sounded almost like a native Japanese.
Felt the same way! The Japanese accent influence is strong. She sounds like she has a mix of American, Singaporean and Japanese accents varying from word to word.
Nice office! Also nice to see Sho is doing well!
This is such an encouraging video of Singapore and Japan sharing technology ideas with each other ❤
Amazing office tour, feels like a nice company to work for 👍🏻❤
It's not.
Singapore and Japan are both advanced and civilized countries, and the people of the two countries should strengthen ties. 👍
Strengthen ties with ppl that killed our ancestors? lol ppl have no pride these days. They forget too easily.
Japan and S.Korea. Not Sin-jiak-poh
Great to see how close is Singapore with Japan!❤
Very interesting episode! 👍👏

10:46 i can't stop laughing Ghib-san
サンドラさん、日本人かと思った…言葉が完璧。
It's funny to see how the Singaporean lady tried hard to sound Japanese, and the Japanese man tried hard to sound Singaporean 😂
how did u get to know about them. I also aspire to work there.
I would also love the opportunity to be able to work in Japan!
So cool and interesting topics
I am living here for my life
素晴らしい企業文化ですね!私もAmazon Japanで働きたいです!
Are They hiring for Kitchen staff ?
Chill guys, it's not what you can see that matters!😉But yea, nice video
Every Singaporeans must be envying her. No need. Green is always greener on the other side

It depends on the position, some positions no need Japanese 👍

having coffee and yoga dont go together. Fun workplace
I love Japan.... ❤❤❤

I am in tokyo
Working in a company like Amazon is very different from working in the average Japanese company though!
nice video.
ROFL the caption stating JIPPUN LANG that's how Hokkien slang AHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in the old days she would have been labelled as a Quitter
2 japanese speaking singlish 😂
"can speak proper engrish ma" ahahahhaa
Jialat, so many talents goto Japan. Singapore gov must be worry. What if they stay in Japan & don't comeback then like that how huh?
どうせやったら欧米の企業だけやなくてシンガポール企業のオフィスツアーなんかもやって欲しいね。
With all the facilities.... Probably is better to stay in the office, work 24/7 and not go home........
Great analysis, thank you! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
AWS is not a good example to show the cooperate culture difference between SG &JP :)
3 minutes!
水の美味しい。~😂

AWS is not how Japan company will work. likewise In Singapore a SME is what a local company is.
The cut between some shots feels weird. Other than that, nice video. Love the cheap food
stay away from amazon !!! my brother just got forced to resign...
