After uncovering the 650 silhouette from the archive in 2021, Aimé Leon Dore brings back a new material pack of the model to celebrate the Mulberry Classic hoops tournament that took place on June 10th on E Houston St. A timeless athletic design features a white leather upper that is accented with black, baby blue, and green color pops and a gum rubber outsole. Open mesh is introduced at the ankle collar, tongue, and on the shoe's 'N' branding. A woven, co-branded tongue label features a contrasting flying New Balance logo set against a tonal version of Aimé Leon Dore's signature apple basketball mark.

I loved the first three released ALD 650Rs. If I didn’t already have those and most of the first five ALD 550s, I’d have gone for some of these.
I remember when these came out not too long ago and everyone wanted them. Now not so much.

Bought the green pair on the first ald 650 release about a year ago. They're great. The 550 generally holds up great to a lot of wear.
I haven't tried the 650s yet, but own a couple pairs of 550s... in a 9.5 (my normal size) and a 10. When putting them sole-to-sole, I can't tell a difference visually & fit-wise. Size 9 was a tad too snug for my taste, even with casual lacing. Might pick up a 650, but will probably go with a GR colorway, mainly because of cost & I like how the N logo is solid versus mesh on the ALD version
i got my dad a pair to stunt in. i do love the "carolina" blue color. and yes i always go half a size down on 550s and 650s,.
2:25 Obv VERY similar to Jordan 1s. Al though I'm also getting a vague BK Knights vibe, but these definitely mimic Nike and the Jordan1. NB even has a swoosh element. Also, that little square on the back is definitely reminiscent of the Jordan1, its where the left and right swoosh join.
Cool colors. Green is the best by far.
Love these NBs, love Jordan 1s, love reeboks from the era, and I despise adidas shoes from this time period.

I have always wanted to ask you this question, If you had 200 bucks to spend on a pair of shoes and you have bad feet what would you get? I love all your videos you gave me a shoe fetish and now own 8 pairs of new shoes I trade them out daily but I am looking for that ONE I currently own the New Balance fresh foamx more v4s and the lacecless 1080 v12 grey and the Super comp trainer v1 now my Nikes I have the Invincible run 3 and 2 and a pair of wind flow and last but not least Asics gel Nimbus 25 wich I am really really loving atm kind of wanting to look at that new Kayano 30. I really didn't know the Asics would be so comfortable my fav. use to be my super comp trainer but every time I put it on I am like naaa let me wear my Asics or my Nike Invincible run 2s which I like way better than the 3s! Oh and the last shoe I own was the Hoka Bondi 8 and hate that shoe wore it out way to fast.

If you have a normal width or narrow foot go true to size, & if you’re a wide footer go up a half size

1. I have 5 different pairs of NBs they all comfortable 2. better quality 3. if you look smart you get pretty cheap some NBs and number 4. air Jordan 1 are not comfortable
