Hi, Your videos are very good. I have questions: On the S7 (TIAV19) PID_Compact technology object how do I stop the PID Output from adjusting before it gets to the setpoint (on the first cycle). On other manufacturers PID function blocks (i.e. Unitronics & B&R) the PID output only starts adjusting when you get to the Set Point for the first time (first cycle). Is it a case of keeping the PID Compact in manual mode until it reaches the set point for the first time?
you can use your customized logic to control the manual mode of the PID. The B&R PID feature, as you explained, is used to prevent the PID integral from being saturated. This is a good feature, but it would also cause trouble if the user did not know about it. Therefore, using your logic to control the PID mode would be better.
Dear, I want to control constant water flow with the help of VFD using analog output from S7-1500 plc. I have water flow feed back from flow meter. please help with example program
Hi you can use analog output to control the VFD and use analog input for reading the flow water. I would recommend you review the video from PID11 ruclips.net/video/FSBt7LT1t94/видео.html to PID10 more than 10 videos.
Hi friend, please view the Link below, I have around 40 videos discuss PID control. ruclips.net/p/PL762SfoJC-e_1CtDQoRe6PYEG6Iz_zdvz. And from the almost first video, I discussed how to set up the hardware control loop "ruclips.net/video/InMEyp4qqfk/видео.html", ruclips.net/video/f198esFxA_A/видео.html, also I discussed how to model the hardware control loop into second order model, that is the reason you can not see the 'Real hardware' in the videos, because the actual process has been modeled from early videos. Welcome, and enjoy them.
you explain the idea in a professional way 👍 Thanks..
Thanks for your watching! Welcome to my channel!
Agree.
from best Channels in Automation.....Thank you for your efforts
So nice of you! Thanks my friend, and welcome!

I will do as you explained, I wish my project have a good results, thank for explanation about description on PLC loop and step how to tune PID, thank
Thanks and good luck! feel free to leave comments

All talk.... where is the actual simulation that proves your programming is correct ?
