    OMG!!! This is the BEST jive video. Jive is so fast. Without the slow-mo breakdowns, it's almost impossible to learn from a video. Crystal clear here! Learnt so much in just a few minutes. Great instructions! Yay!!

    Excellent demo and explanations... my chicken walks are always stronger swiveling on the RF...maybe more hip will help...but the music in Jive is just so darned fast! THANKYOU!

    • @tytusbergstrom
      @tytusbergstrom  3 года назад

      Hey thanks! Most of my advanced students to beginners will generally have a stronger side. To remedy the fast music consider using a metronome, slow to medium and then fast to build the habits.❤️🙏🏽

    Hello! Please can you tell me about your experience with the modular dancefloor? Do the tiles stay together? Do high heels catch at the transitions? I've been practicing on slippery, hard concrete and am thinking about alternatives... Thank you!

    • @tytusbergstrom
      @tytusbergstrom  4 года назад +1

      Hi Amanda! they are much more forgiving than concrete, and the high heals don't get stuck when its new (we have single 1 foot squares interlocked, can't say for sure about other modular floors). BUT over time they can get slightly maneuvered slightly, and then they may start to catch. hope that helps! Tytus

    Tytus and LiWen, what is that move where you lightly bump chests? I've seen it a couple of times but don't know what it's called 🤔. Another awesome video thank you, you explain everything so well.

    • @tytusbergstrom
      @tytusbergstrom  5 лет назад +2

      glad u like the video! their's a step called "left shoulder shove/hip bump" but perhaps the one you mean is different, since it doesn't involve chests. perhaps it was not a syllabus figure. if you find it on a video send it my way with the time code.

    You guys are awesome! But here’s a small advice, chicken walk looks more gorgeous when partners lean back and keep the balance and connection with their weight while holding hands, this way, chicken walk looks prettier and smoother

    • @deborahol
      @deborahol 5 лет назад +1

      I like that too Claudriel but I don't think these great experts need advice on it haha. I also think it's down to personal preference as well as ability.

    How to get those minor details plus keep the dynamic energy efficiently and throughout?

    • @tytusbergstrom
      @tytusbergstrom  6 лет назад +1

      HI Levi! good question, thanks for asking. best to go slow enough to create new habits with the intention and energy you want. so perfect each position and move slowly, self correct using the mirror and your video from your phone so you can see whats working. hope that helps. let me know if it does? also check out our other channel for a lot of other tips. great dancing to you! very small frying pan is needed, and take out the samba bounce, or the ants go flying everywhere (this is from many failed attempts of course)
