Very good and very informative vid mate. I’m just getting into the drag Rc still building mine but I learned a lot watching your vids. keep up the great work 👍
So this may sound very noob of me. But im just getting into the rc drag car stuff. Is there a difference in tires for no prep vs prep? Or is it just belted vs none belted tires?
I’ve heard beetle Juice is a good conditioner. I haven’t tried it. But after your last pass before packing up. Lean tires good with Naptha (Only) and then let them dry.. heat for like 3 minutes and then put the conditioner on the tires and wrap them right after.
No Prep means the track surface. Tire prep is allowed in the NPRC rules and at the local events and Big events. A few groups still only allow dry tire and that’s fine. But you’ll be very disappointed if you go to a national event and try to compete with a dry tire.
@@LordDecrepido Not any of the prepped cars around here. We are going 2.0-2.1@70+ mph on GNSS. But I gotta ask.. If dry tire Is so good Why are you watching a video on “How to prep tires” 🤔
@@gravityracergt jus seeing what's up still gonna watch and listen to any good info u got. Yea I never run sticky but I clean with conditioner lol I help run races too so I don't like messing with too much is all.

Are you running a locked diff? If not what are you running in your diff
Not a locked diff. Running the factory Team Associated B6.1 Gear diff with 500K diff fluid.
Im running PL mid motor also would that diff fit?
