  • Loring roasters use a patented single gas burner system that provides heat for both roasting the coffee and incinerating smoke from the roast chamber.

      Dude, order a bag of anything from Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters. You will not taste any smokiness period. The near-vacuum conditions and 1500+ degree smoke incineration ensure the cleaning return air. The coffees I've tasted from this equipment tend to taste LESS smokey, sweeter, more complex, and altogether more amazing.

      You can also purchase from equator. They use the loring, and all their coffee tastes the same!

      Benjamin Hildebrand That would be something about equator. I’ve drunk a number of Tim Wendelboe coffees, both before and after he switched to Loring. Sameness is not a problem.

    Hello Sir,
    Good morning.
    this is ansari. please sir, are this burner working to automatically or need temperature adjustment...??

      Loring roasters include touchscreen and automation software. You have the option to roast manually, or automatically. Automatic roasting includes charge green at a predefined temperature, PID temperature over time control from a saved roast profile, auto discharge to the cooler tray at end of roast temp, and start of the cooler tray fan and paddles.

    Heat is distributed EVENLY through the roaster!? You don't see the problem here?

    • @benjaminhildebrand2220
      @benjaminhildebrand2220 5 лет назад +2

      I will often get coffee sourced from equator coffee and tea (They use a loring) , from a local shop. It ALL tastes pretty much the same. I'm assuming that is from the EVEN heat distribution. There needs to be an on the heat, off the heat cycle . From everything I've seen, an even heat is going to bake the beans, not roast them. That might explain why all the coffee I get from a retailer that sources coffee from a roaster that uses a loring, tastes all the same.

      Hi Benjamin. Loring roasters offer a very fine level of control for the temperature applied over the course of a roast. Even heat distribution means that the beans are receiving the same amount of heat delivery at a given point in time. Avoiding some beans being darker than others, and helping to avoid roast defects like scorching or facing.

      Hi Steven. It's nice to see that our competitors are enjoying the Loring educational videos. As you can see in the animation, the air from the roast chamber is cleaned via cyclone and incineration tube before being reintroduced to the roast process. We continue to hear from our customers that they appreciate the ability to get clean, bright coffees from machines.
