    Sykkuno is Yugi, Charlie is Yami, Leslie is Kaiba, Toast is Pegasus, Blau is Joey, Ludwig is Marik, Vale is Weevil, Lily is Tea

    • @LeBearr
      @LeBearr 2 года назад +35

      Think about it first round was Kaiba (fuslie) torturing (vale) weevil but he found a way out but eventually lost, Yami (Charlie) beat Joey (Blau) pretty quick, Pegasus destroyed Tea with no mercy eand she didn’t know how to play that much, Yugi fought Marik and beat him even it was tough, Yugi (Syk ) beat Kaiba in the semifinals and he refused to lose so then (toast) Pegasus challenged him to let him show off his deck but then humiliated him. When Pegasus (toast) fought Yami (Charlie) he used an underhanded trick to get a win off on him but Yami is still the best and beat Pegasus. Then the end is just Yugi vs Yami for the most intense final round ever and by the end both are playing like old friends with their misplays but Yugi eventually wins, Also after the tournament Yugi (syk) fought Pegasus again (toast) but he got OTKed by his xyz monsters but then Joey (Blau) fought him with Yugi’s original deck and Yugi (syk) didn’t think he could win but then Joey beat Pegasus with that deck and Joey is the win ending which I always thought was the best, also Blau was cheering on syk the whole tournament like how Joey sounded

      Trust me he won't. This game is fkin insanely hard to get into if you have no prior knowledge of the last two or three summon mechanics. He will have to invest massive amounts of time just learning about all the cards/archetypes and summon mechanics. Sadly that's the state of the game and just learning these two will take a lot of time and is only just the beginning to this convoluted game. This game is always evolving at an extreme pace and i don't think Toast has the ability to keep up.

    Still I think the players should be told the absolute basics: defense mode, attacking with different power levels, trap cards, banishing, etc. Just the absolute basics. Maybe have them play a couple of games with different decks prior to the tournament.

      Well admittedly, if you're looking to "balance" the decks and offer opportunities to have a bunch silly decks to choose from, CIMO, Dzeef, Distantcoder, and so on would be pretty good to help with that.
      The only reason the games were super long was because everyone didn't know how to play their decks. Toast was like practicing for about an hour and bricked hardcore during the Leslie match, lol.

    Watch half of this live, it was amazing. Now watching the rest of the vod. It's so entertaining! I don't play the game but watched it when I was younger like many others so it was really fun!
    Lily and her inner monolouge was hilarious! Also Sykunno's deck seemed pretty OP compared to everyone elses.

    As a HERO player myself, I'm glad to see hero winning some event, Hero is in that weird spot where it's too strong for casual but also not strong enough for meta.
    I will say, giving hero dark law and plasma is a weird choice, but it's still weird hearing honest neos and broken in the same sentence, like if they thought that was broken, don't read Trinity, or malicious Bane, or dpe... hehehe

    These deck picks felt weird asf. You got classic anime character decks like BEWD, DM, REBD, heroes and CyDra. Then you got a no boss mon zoo deck. That zoo deck was destined to fail from the start.

    ludwig was absolutely sabotaged by the people who made the deck. no shuraig, no kit, no bearbrumm, no revolt, no zeus, no drident. it's like they made the deck and then took out every important or semi important card that would make the deck do not nothing.
