Been getting a lot of questions about the weight. I weighed it on my postage scale empty without the inner pouch or strap and it is 1lb 7oz. For comparison, I weighed my monogram Neverfull empty and it is 1lb 3oz. CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT?? A full leather tote only 4oz heavier than canvas. It’s an amazing bag!

I love the bag! I plan to purchase it in black. I have never purchased a LV bag because I could never imagine myself paying so much for canvas. This all leather bag is gorgeous and I will definitely be adding it to my handbag/tote collection!
I have NEVER liked neverfull due to durability however I saw this and I’m in love I’m on the hunt ! I would definitely purchase black for my lifestyle especially with kids they get their hands on your stuff and stuff gets stained easy ! Loved this review amazing color babe ❤️

Exactlyyyyyyyy! I have a LV bag with gold hardware feet. I feel that is so important! I cannot see myself buying that bag or the on the go tote for that price and there is no feet smh. I'll pass. Pretty bag though, but too pricey for what it lacks.

I posted a couple more follow up videos after this. This bag also ended up having a defect! Yellow discoloration at all the seams due to whatever glue they used. So definitely be careful with this color
I love the color but for the price you would think it would be leather inside or at least a nice pop of color with the fabric the canvas NF has.

It's the same size as normal MM neverfulls. It's bigger in person! I thought it looked small too so I ordered too small of an organizer but when I got it it was so big!
Is this PM ? I've seen MM reviews, and they all look bigger than what I'm seeing here.

I have this bag, adore it...this one she is reviewing is the MM size....the camera and soft color of Turtledove is making it look smaller, the black color tends to look bigger being dark. When I received the bag, my x-large organizer fit perfectly. I am saying this cause as a professional artist...some colors do not give you a true sense of scale, along with camera angles/focus.

Hi, mine has a date code it seems like it is was made in March 2021, do you know if the ones with a date code also have the microchip? I bought it 2nd hand online and i would like to go a store to check if it is a fake or not
Just googled this because I wasn’t sure and it sounds like all merchandise made after March 1, 2021 should have no date code and only a microchip so I would definitely get it authenticated! There are online services you can use and get results in minutes. Try ProAuthenticators.

I haven’t had any issues yet! Just depends on your wardrobe. I know I don’t wear a lot of black so this was a better choice for me, but if you love black I’d get that one

It is surprisingly light weight. I thought it would be much heavier. I will try to remember to weight it for you on my postage scale.

3 years later how do you find the wear and tear? Is there colour transfer? I would love to buy it in turtledove but I’m so worried about colour trainsfer
The bag ended up being defective! Issue with the glue they use to hold the seams together yellowing the leather. LV took it back and I exchanged it for a Neo Noe. I’m in collector groups on FB and a lot of people also had this same issue with this color, so definitely buyer beware!

Mine doesn’t have a tag that states where it’s made. It had a paper one that said made in USA. I called Louis Vuitton they are chipping them in the US.

Hi Mama Beech, I have a Dooney question (gasp! on a L.V. video) and I'm sure you have the answer. I'm looking to buy a used Dooney pebble leather crossbody and it's a medium-dark blue. The seller doesn't know the color, so I thought I'd ask you, since you're the Dooney expert. On one bag the letters on the tag are DY and the other is YT.
That is beautiful. I wish you would have cinched it to see how it looks cinched up.
Darn, good point! Just from handling it, I think cinching it would be a little challenging. The leather is pliable but not as pliable as canvas 🤔

I have a few other black bags so I figured I would pick a different color and I certainly didn’t want the responsibility of keeping the cream clean, so Turtledove it was! Seems like a lot of people are preferring the black though so they don’t have to worry about the color transfer issue.

Why does it look so much smaller than a traditional MM?
Same size! I do a comparison if you fast forward to the mod shot.
Maybe it looks smaller to the eye because it’s plumper/rounder. Canvas ones are more flat so they might appear slightly wider.
The leather is smaller per the website

It shouldn’t need much since it’s a treated pebbled leather. I’d make sure it keep it well
conditioned (especially the corners) and wipe it down regularly with a damp rag. You can spray it with something like carbon pro if you want to, but this type of leather doesn’t really need it.
My pochette metis is black empreinte. I do t do anything special to it. I e had it for 3 years and have used it a fair amount and no problems so far. I love it. Very carefree!

I just got mine tonight in black. I can’t find the date code anywhere. Did you find it in yours? The wristlet has a leather tag inside but just says Louis Vuitton Paris.
Yes, mine has one. It’s under the pocket up near the top trim. If you are looking at the pocket, it’s on the right side. I read though that bags made after March would not have date codes though. Mine was made in January.

Look at the bag from the front, lift up the pocket that is sewn on the inside at the top right. The tag is sewn there but it is very hard to see unless you really lift the pocket up and look in that seam deep.

It probably looks smaller to the eye because it’s leather which is a lot more stiff than canvas. It’s definitely the MM size as I purchased it directly from LV myself.

I had to return it! There is a defect with the glue they used on some of these that turns the seams yellow over time. LV took it back and gave me an exchange credit so I got something else in reliable monogram canvas. Here is a video I did on this topic: ruclips.net/video/uzE7JSiFG-o/видео.html

It's much prettier than the last few collections they've released. I did want the black choice until my friend told me the bag feels like rubber, Idk her saying that just turned me off to it lol.

Mama Beech I agree with you..it does not feel like rubber to me at all..you want the bag to have some structure and durability. I love the leather feel of this tote. To each her/his own..check it out for yourself 😀

Since it’s a pebbled leather, it really stands a chance of not having color transfer issues. Just make sure you check it after each use and wipe it down if you see anything immediately. For treated pebbled leather like this, it’s hard for dye to absorb unless you leave it on there a long time

Nah I’ve had the PM size. This is definitely MM. There is a side by side comparison to my monogram MM towards the end and it’s the same.
