- Hurricane Fiona is bearing down on the Dominican Republic after knocking out the power grid and unleashing floods and landslides in Puerto Rico, where the governor said the damage was “catastrophic.”
No deaths have been reported, but authorities in the U.S. territory said it was too early to estimate the damage from a storm that was still forecast to unleash torrential rain across Puerto Rico on Monday.

The reason is the mayor was a liberal anti Trump democrat full of corruption as has always been the case for Puerto Rico. She held up relief and caused the people of Puerto Rico to suffer much longer. Before Maria Puerto Rico had received millions of dollars to upgrade the islands electrical grid and after Maria it was found out the money was not spent to upgrade and some how the money just vanished.

T diverted $ to the wall He used a minority to block the island from receiving funds on a timely manner. And to boot - he discharged $30M in bankruptcy court for PR people to pay. That is why he threw paper towels - so that they would dry their tears as they pay $30M plus interest.

ha ha the pentagon investigation reported that the project officers managing the contracts out of Atlanta and Jacksonville would be send to school to learn how to manage contracts. There was no wrong doing by FEMA.

FEMA is paid by American citizens, including PR, but covers nature disasters around the world. Whatever they do is trying to help. Perfect, nobody, so do not complain.
