Kim I watched your Grief video yesterday, but was so shocked I skipped the ads, I’m so sorry. I’m going back and watching it again and watch every single ad. II know how hard this is or what I should say is I can identify with you I lost my brother which was well…you know. But, I also lost my mom when I was 17 , my Dad in March, my Aunt and my Grandma ( when I was 16 yrs old and she was my Heart) the hardest was my son being diagnosed with Cancer, he is absolutely Cancer free now. My whole point of telling you all this is that if you see me watching your videos but not saying much, I just love to watch your videos so I can “ Put a little Happy in my Life”. I’m a 62 yr. old grandma and need and love how much you make me laugh even when it’s so hard to do sometimes. I’m very sick now, so you cracking me up is the Greatest help for me. You’re a Sweetheart and deserve the best in life. I’m saying prayers for you and your whole family. Find Peace, Love and Laughter in your Children and your amazing husband, Alex they are such a gift to you. I will be thinking of you everyday sending lots of love your way. Edit: Just finished watching your video about your Sister again and as I said I would do I watched all the ads as I said I would do. When I wasn’t stuck in a wheelchair chair, cleaning was the thing that sometimes helped me. All my love ❤️

I always loved the Christmas catalog. We got one from Amazon the other day and my son sat with it for an hour and circled way too many things.
Yes!! Would circle stuff on EVERY page..and looked at it over n over n over again..my girls did the same thing!i hate they quit the catalogs..that was part of the merriment of the holiday season!! Great memories!
That is a forgotten memory just found. My mom gave us the catalog to “help” Santa
My daughter circled a bunch, & I told her that Santa can't afford all of it, so she said not to tell him how much it costs!

Fun story that I tell just about everyone at some point: I got my KitchenAid mixer at a rummage sale for $25. Twenty! Five! Dollars! It’s a deep eggplant purple so maybe someone was sick of the color, and it’s got some dings and dents, but it still works great and did I mention $25?! When I saw the price I immediately went into like a defensive stance - no one was going to take it from me! 😝😝😝

My kids and I watch your cooking and shopping "show" all the time and my 9year old son has been expressing his condolences on your loss since we found out. Thank you for being true to you. And one more story: each year, my ex-brother-in-law would give my daughter things to really annoy my ex & me, ie giant nerfball guns. One year, I topped them all by giving his kids sand art, tiny beads for bracelets, & glitter glue for crafts!!! Need I say more?🤣🤣🤣

@@thewadsquad 2 tree bags would work, but I think they sell tree bags for 12ft trees. I could be wrong! So excited to see your new home at Christmas time! I just know you're going to make it so lovely!
@THE WADS We have never had a tree bag (never even heard about those). We just use the box it came in. We leave the box in the garage during the season and when we put the tree away we tape it up really good and store it in the shed.
Store it in your new huge garage!

You're so right about refinishing your own furniture! It's so much cheaper to find something on Facebook, not to mention the furniture at Costco typically isn't solid wood. I share furniture flips---you can totally do it! Also. Get. A. Giant. Christmas. Tree. Continued prayers for your family, thank you for continuing to spread some happiness despite it all. You've helped me through many lonely days as a SAHM during covid with a new baby!

That emergency light would make a great Christmas present for my adult daughter, who drives her car to & from work each day. The touchscreen gloves would be good for her too (as would be the ladies' hoodies). I didn't notice the wine Advent calendar at my local Costco this past weekend (my first-ever visit to a Costco warehouse), but I did see a "beer-lover's Advent calendar." We mostly bought non-perishable groceries (including a case of Mexican Coca-Cola), but we did also bring home a couple of the food-court pizzas for supper.
My entire apartment is furnished with hand-me-downs

My coworker bought a pack of cozy socks like that and split them out as coworker gifts. I was like, that's genius! I feel like Costco is great for that - buy a couple different things like that and you can split them out and make nice little gift baskets. Like the socks, hot chocolates, and some of the cookies.
I am not shying away from classic Christmas. Vintage Christmas in my house. :P

OMG the paper dolls we played with growing up, has come full circle!!! Are you serious!? They are wooden!! And magnetic. May have to get me one!!! (And my granddaughter has that talking tiger, he growls, purrs, and sits..pretty awesome too)
Those body glove paddle boards are fantastic. We bought them for our cottage in northern Ontario. Even my pregnant daughter was able to balance on them! They come with a storage bag so we can deflate and store during the freezing winter! Wonderful to see you Kim. Normal activities are a distraction! Sending lots of love 💕

Be careful you don’t push yourself too hard and end up sick or burned out emotionally. The house will come together and probably not be perfect by Xmas but will be good enough bc you have your sweet family. We used the small car starter and it literally takes 5 mins and have them in both cars! Such a great gift

My daughter got a rug for her dining room and she liked the back side for the texture for clean up so that is what she used. The design and the texture is beautiful. I don't have the ability to think out of the box like that

My parents had a 12' tree from Hobby Lobby pre lit, super easy to put together and stored back in box. My mom is super particular and loved it until they downsized. They bought it in October 50% off. That's one memory I have with my dad that I hope I never forget is playing super Mario Brothers with him and his bedroom while there is a tornado going over us in Texas he passed away a couple years ago and Mario Brothers definitely reminds me of him love it
