The symptoms sound almost identical to Disembarkment Syndrome. I had never even heard of thie ailment before until I had to do deep research due to the horrible symptoms I was experiencing. It started the minute I walked off a plane returning from a vacation in Puerto Rico. Some people may not experience the same symptoms I had or to the degree I did, but let me tell you it was the most terrifying feeling. Every minute of every day was excruciating. Strangely, the only solace I had was when I either driving or riding in a vehicle, the symptoms would almost vanish. After about a month or two the effects subsided thankfully. I never would have been able to live like that if the symptoms persisted another month. My heart goes out to this man and all others who experienced the Havana Syndrome.

I get metallic taste often when I wake up only. Just now I experienced my ear had a clogged sensation with an intense pulsing feeling while I was asleep it woke me up, but I couldn't move as long as that was happening. Lasted for about 5 seconds. Prior to I seen an image of a person in our back yard then my experience took place. I thought of these instances what's been in the news and looked them up. I've had some issues before but this was different and worse.

Sonic weapons don't work like that. They produce noise that can be used to ward off people. The US Navy as well as some police forces use a system called LRAD. The Navy uses it to ward off pirates and other threats and police have used it for crowd control. I don't know if police still use it because it's kind of controversial. Sonic weapons have been dismissed as a possible cause of Havana Syndrome.
